Wu Jinmai's POV
Uncle and I raise our heads and look at the man standing next to him. Shanguan Zu Jin blinks.
"That was a quick meeting. I should've come tomorrow morning instead. I know I disturb everyone," I commented.
He shakes his head. "It's okay. Can I give it a try?" A'Zu asks.
I smiled and nodded. He looked at the string, and the puzzle was solved with two strokes.
"What?" Uncle remarked.
I laugh. I stood up. "You need to practice playing this game again, Eunuch Liu," I said.
My peripheral vision notices the arrival of three ladies. They came from the back side of the front chambers.
I turned around and faced them. Shanguan Zu Jin notices that I'm looking for someone.
"Oh, that's Lady Shu Ning. Aunt Song Yue's maternal cousin," he whispers in my ears.
I froze. His breath is making me ticklish. They stopped and bowed their heads while holding their hands together.
