They all bow their heads and pay their respect. They slowly leave the hall one by one. I took a deep breath when those who had no issues speaking in private had left the meeting hall. I start massaging my shoulder.
"This is really tiring," I whispered.
Shanguan Zu Jin coughs. I look at him and glare. "Can I relax for a bit?" I growled. He shakes his head and starts sighing.
Minister Cai Lu stayed as I requested. Consort Wang, my two other husbands, the two Songs, and the fathers of my husbands stayed as well.
I turned around and signed Eunuch Liu to come closer. "Do you need something, your highness?" he asks. I lean a bit closer.
"Tell the guards and the nuns to stop anyone who wants to enter the hall. We have to speak with them privately," I mumbled.
He bows his head and withdraws. I faced them again, and my eyes met Song Jialun's eyes. He was clearly staring at me. I tried not to feel intimidated.
