Shanguan Zu Jin's POV
I went out and looked at Xu Jiaxu. That expression on his face—I know what it means. I grab my wife's shoulder and turn her around to face me.
"Wait here, okay? We will go out after this. They're just summoning me for the morning meeting," I stated.
She gave me that suspicious gaze. I smiled and pinched her cheeks. "Don't worry. We always do this when I'm still here or every time I come and pay them a visit," I lied.
Wu Jinmai nodded and held my hand. "You better come back as soon as possible. I'm already hungry," she whispers, caressing her stomach.
I laughed and nodded. "I'll go ahead," I said.
I let her go. I look at Xu Jiaxu. He followed me right away. We both headed into the receiving hall.
They're already sitting on their chairs, even my younger siblings. I held my palm and bowed my head.
"Greetings, father, mother, grandfather, and grandmother," I remarked.
