Song Jialun's POV
My aunt was surprised when I dropped by the Li residence. She dragged me into the garden and asked the maids to prepare snacks for the two of us in their gazebo.
"This is the first time you visit me all by yourself, especially now that your cousin Li Jin isn't here," she says. I smiled sweetly.
"Because I trust you the most, Auntie. Mother always told me that you can be my second mother," I remarked.
She gave me a suspicious glance. I know she was aware that I was having trouble with something.
I can't hide anything from her because, like my mother, Aunt Li Shen was an observant and caring person. She held my palm.
"I know that something happened, Song Jialun. Tell your aunt your worries. I will listen to you," she says. I sighed and looked at her in the eyes.
I was ready to speak when her maids came. We let them put the food on the table first. "You may leave everyone," she says after.
