Cai Lin's POV
I was walking at the market while buying some buns when I noticed the presence that was tailing me.
I'm already wearing my regular clothes, but they still realize that I'm part of the inspectorate office.
I paid for the buns and walked away. I grabbed one and was eating it while turning to a corner.
"Of all time, I only have a dagger with me," I whispered to myself.
I turned again and ran, then hid. I heard the footsteps coming in this direction.
"Find her! Make sure to capture her. Remember our boss's warning. We have to make sure that we can kill one of the members of the inspectorate office," their leader roars.
I jumped and held the metal above this house and curled up. I swayed my body and used my feet to reach the roof. I'm glad its not slippery!
I swayed my body again and crawled on the roof. I almost lost my balance and fell, but I managed to grab a roof tile. I lie down, then peek.
