"I hear Julius is currently staying at your mansion, Maverick. If he's ever imposing, don't hesitate to kick him out as you please. That boy never understood the concept of personal space. When he was a child, he'd sneak into my bedroom at night and often end up quarreling with his father." The Queen chuckled, covering her mouth with a hand.
Maverick smiled, genuinely amused by the image of a young Julius causing mischief. "I'll keep that in mind, Your Majesty," he replied, his tone laced with humor.
As the conversation continued, Maverick's gaze wandered back to the area where he had spotted the suspicious man earlier. To his surprise, the man was no longer there. His brow furrowed slightly.
"Is something the matter, Maverick?" the Queen inquired, her perceptive eyes catching his distraction.
Maverick turned back to her with a polite smile. "It's nothing, Your Majesty. Just thought I saw someone familiar."
