Chapter 37
I believe the heart wants what it wants
It was a hectic day at Daniel's restaurant but what was more taunting for Tavon was the fact that he also had to help out. Apparently, Daniel hadn't got more workers because he didn't see anyone who wanted a job.
So right now, Tavon was as good as a Swain. Mia laughed so hard when she saw him waiting at a table with a hard glare, but the ladies didn't seem angry or anything. Instead, they were admiring the whole of him, one even attempted to touch him but got a stern look which made her withdraw her hands immediately.
Mia didn't know why everything looked so funny to her. She wasn't even feeling jealous. Maybe, because she knew he wouldn't even look their way.
Suddenly, she noticed Tavon staring hard at a particular man, he looked dangerous, wearing all black with a cut on his forehead, his eyes was seriously staring at her husband as he sat on the table alone, sipping his drink.
