"Please stop talking like that," Magnus muttered and I noticed Cayon move forward a little.
"Milady," he started, his voice soft and careful, "It really isn't how It seems."
I snapped my gaze to him and slowly shook my head. "It's exactly how it seems."
"Darling," Magnus said as he covered the distance I'd put between us.
"I was merely trying to find out a solution before telling you anything." He breathed out a sigh as he reached out and took one of my hands. "I used the wrong word Astrid, I meant to say you are special."
I swallowed hard before looking up at him, my eyes searching his. "Tell me what's wrong with me Magnus…tell me everything."
"This is your last chance." I told him telepathically, and noticed his eyes widen with surprise. "I didn't know you could do that now…" he muttered.
