Since I came back, I have been indoors. Although Meredith had placed a curse on me that would hide Domnic's smell, I was still not comfortable going outside. The Tau's are known for their unique smelling habits, and even though I trusted Meredith's powers, I couldn't still risk it.
"Knock, knock, knock!!" Someone rasped on the door.
" Not again." I trashed my feet around on the bed. Turning around to check the time on my table clock. Secretly hoped it was not my father. He had requested to see me twice, and the same twice I had refused to see him.
"12:33 AM." I half yelled. Staring at the door. " You better be God," I called out. Referencing the human gods, I had read about during my travels."
" I would definitely want to be the moon god." I heard a quiet voice. I had actually thought it was my mom. But that voice was unmistakably Darius.
