MAGNUS
I yearned not just for the vessel that used to house my soul but also for the one who made it beautiful; I yearned for my family, who definitely didn't know that I was… well, technically dead.
Being a natural optimist, I was able to find a tiny advantage to being a literal wandering ghost, and that advantage was astral projection. With it, I traveled from Maple Dome to Silverwood in a few minutes, even though it took me three tries and an unintended appearance at the mountains of Colorado before I got the hang of it.
It was two days before the full moon, and I wasn't there to help set things in place like I usually did. That was another source of concern for me. I had cried more than a few times; it was probably one of the aftereffects of being trapped between two worlds.
