Prince Harry did not know what to say next after asking Victoria if he were any different from his brother Edward. He saw Victoria's confused look—how little her eyes squinted, trying hard to keep track of his glare—but he could not bring himself to find the best next words. So he just stared at her. Stared deeply at her, feeling the intense, suffocating atmosphere that was dancing inside the room.
"Prince Edward… what did Prince Edward say about me?" Victoria questioned, her eyes lingering on Harry.
"It doesn't matter," Prince Harry mumbled. He could not dare say what Edward had stated about her. He could not even remember the exact words, but he was certain those very words were the core of his anger, leading him to throw blows at Edward's face. "He is a married man now," he added after the small silence, as Victoria nodded.
