Victoria still felt the burning eyes of Prince Harry on her. It seemed he would not take a break, at least from looking at her. Princess Maria of Savoy had noticed too, which was why she kept turning to look at her each time as they now observed the dancers take their places.
Victoria knew little of the theme or strategy of the party; all she knew was that it was Prince Harry's birthday, and she was unsure if she was ready to speak with him yet, especially without company.
