"Certainly, we can start over. I am Prince William McVourse." Victoria repeated the words in her head, still holding the two pieces in her hand. Her extended excitement at meeting a flawless lad faded off within minutes. Lord knows what her heart was looking for, but certainly, the McVourse brothers had somehow paved their way into hers, and she seemed trapped by them. She was not really trapped by them, but perhaps she expected a merchant, a wealthy merchant, or an Italian prince with his rounded mustache at the corners… or better, a well-dressed imam prince of Iraq or somewhere far. It was a McVourse, and well, his writing was not the worst. It at least reduced the boredom in his room.
"You wish me to read it for you?" Prince William firmly stated, his smile glazing over Victoria. He was indeed the first man she danced with at the Winchester ball, and she never got to see him afterward. 'Probably he were busy writing letters, unto she!'
