Rion deserved so much more. She really got the Gege treatment.

3rd P.O.V.
They say that fighting shows who a person truly is.
This was true of Toji in his fight against Satoru Gojo. While fighting, he eventually denied and rejected those who abandoned him.
Jujutsu society.
Even though he had moved on from the Zenin clan, their 'teachings' and 'traditions' still lingered in the back of his mind.
The scar on his lip was a constant reminder of it.
This fight would serve as training for Rion and help her understand Toji.
To Rion, he is still a complete mystery, even after staying with their group. After everything they've done together, she still wants to see who he really is.
'I've got a kid.'
That statement was at the forefront of her mind whenever she thought about Toji.
While she was close to Nagumo and Sakamoto, she wanted to understand Toji.
If he had a kid, she would try to get the information out of him. She knew the kind of person Toji was and knew that the only way to get him to talk was to get him to open up to her.
It was one of the reasons she wouldn't let him stay as a gambling loser. If she can understand him, then maybe she can help him.
However, the main reason why she wanted to reach him was because he reminded Rion of herself.
She is an assassin with someone who she wants to protect. It's something that she can't escape from. Now that Akira is tied to her, she needs to get stronger so Akira can keep the smile on her face.
Toji's situation was much more complex than Rion's.
Unbeknownst to Rion, Toji lost everything.
(A/N - "Except Wormathan.")
He didn't have much left when he died, but he couldn't change his life even if he tried since he wasn't in the same world anymore.
No more Jujutsu.
No more Zenin Clan.
...
No more Megumi.
...
Toji became someone with nothing left.
What is the point of a second chance if you have nothing to do but kill and gamble?
Even if Rion didn't know his situation, she wanted to get him to open up to her, even if she had to beat it out of him.
Although she probably couldn't.
It was apparent to her that Toji was superhuman, but he wasn't like the other weirdos.
He was a homeless bum.
If he had any ties to the organization, he would've made a move rather than pushing his friends away.
Even if he didn't consider her a friend and only a work associate, his life was now intertwined with hers.
*clank*
Rion focused on the person before her as they clashed daggers in the middle of the gym.
She would give it everything she had. Regardless of what she thought of Toji, she needed to protect Akira first and foremost.
Toji was her ticket to becoming stronger.
She has become the strongest in the group without her knowing it.
It would not be very easy if she fought Sakamoto, depending on the environment, since he thrives when he has many tools to use. Still, ever since she learned about the organization, she had been training daily, ignoring most job offers.
She was known as the 'bum' of the Order.
*bam*
Rion raised her left arm to block a strike to her side.
She jumped back a few meters to get her bearings straight, but Toji didn't let up.
Rion ducked as Toji swung at her neck, narrowly avoiding her neck being stabbed.
She smirked. "You tryin' to kill me?"
He returned a smirk. "You can avoid something like that."
Toji and Rion knew she would likely die if Toji wanted, but he matched her skill.
*grab*
Rion immediately spun into a kick, which Toji casually grabbed before it hit his stomach.
She had a wide smile. 'Got him.'
Rion had been in this position multiple times. She had no plans of letting it happen again.
*WHOOSH*
She used her free leg to kick at Toji...
However, she didn't aim for his stomach. For the first time in the fight, Toji looked worried.
He immediately dropped her leg and moved his arms, guarding his crotch.
*BAM*
Toji was caught off guard as his arms weren't in a great position to guard.
Instead of pursuing him, she used her hands on the ground to shoot herself back.
She held a small smile. 'He definitely felt that one.'
Toji had a small bruise on his forearm.
When Toji looked back at Rion, she realized she had made a mistake.
*BAM*
*BOOM*
Toji disappeared from his spot and kicked Rion in the stomach, sending her flying into the wall.
...
Toji looked irritated. "What the fuck was that!?"
...
She had tried to kick him in the balls.
Rion laughed as she lay in a crack in the wall, a small blood trail running down her head. "HAHA, 'you can avoid something like that,' right!? I'm going all out, so I'm using the stuff at my disposal, and all men have a single weakness!"
Akira's eyes widened from the opposite side of the gym. 'Auntie is a genius.'
Instead of scowling at him, Akira gave Toji a malicious smile.
Toji rubbed his forehead. "*Sigh* Look what you did. The kid's got some bad ideas now."
Rion tilted her head to the side. "What bad ideas? It's an effective strategy."
Toji shook his head. "In any case, let's call it here. I'm going out to get something to eat."
Now, he would have to watch his back with Akira. He didn't know if Akira using Rion as a role model was a good idea anymore.
Teaching kids to protect themselves is a good idea, but Rion was...unique.
Rion pondered for a moment but had a smile. "That's a great idea! Akira, we're going out with Toji for lunch!"
Toji raised an eyebrow. "Since when did I say you were coming along?"
She shrugged. "I've gotta make sure you aren't going to go gambling again. Besides, I know a great noodle place!"
Toji scratched his hair. "Suit yourself."
*whoosh*
Toji vanished from his spot, leaving Akira and Rion in the gym as he left the building.
He never said he would wait for them.
...
Rion had a small smile. 'I'll get him to open up eventually.'
