Chapter 1 - Death

This is by no means an attack on Christians. I only wrote this book as I gained inspiration.

I always thought that wasting time in something you dont trust is probably humanity's greatest blunder. I, however wont make that mistake. I always thought of it to be meaningless to worship a deity when all we can do is hope he exists, so I never went to church or praised him and just lived my life to the fullest. I was a successful businessman, having a networth of millions, a trustworthy reputation and I even had a good looking face.

After dying at the age of 31 in a plane accident my worst fear came to be true.

I wasn't surprised when I ended up in hell but I was terrified. A land filled with red burning flames, the ground scorched of any living things and in the distance there sat a man on a throne of bones. The ruler of hell was in my sight. He gestured for me to come forward. I walked slowly, uncomfortably. I stopped just a few meters away. I raised my head to look him in the eyes. I was quite shocked actually.

In every story I've read about him, they depict him as this gruesome, ugly monster, but the person in front of me is probably the most handsome man I've ever seen and thats coming from someone straight. His voice was peculiarly beautiful when hearing it for the first time.

"Another human, what did you do in your life that was so bad."

"I didn't believe."

"So common these days. Oh well as the devil I now have to torture you or I can give you a second option."

"Whats the second option."

"Join my army. Obviously as the lowest rank, but who knows, maybe one day you could even reach the top."

He started laughing menacingly as to say 'a human could never reach the top'.

' I'll show you wrong.'

"I guess I'm joining the army."

His demeanor turned cold again.

"Follow him, he'll show you where to go and what to do."

He pointed his finger at a man behind him.

"Okay, this shouldn't be too hard."
