Hades moved swiftly through the shadowed halls of the Necrovauld Academy, arriving at the central office of the inner disciples. His white hair and sharp features gave him a striking appearance, but here, amidst the dark-cloaked disciples of the academy, he blended in effortlessly.
Few paid him any mind as he approached the counter, where a weary officer sat sorting through an endless stack of reports.
The officer barely glanced up, offering a half-hearted nod of acknowledgment.
"I've been away for a bit," Hades said casually, his voice smooth and composed. "Anything new happening in the academy?"
The officer looked at him through tired eyes, rubbing his chin absentmindedly. "Not really," he muttered, rifling through the papers. "Things have been quiet, same as always. Nothing worth mentioning."
