Luci panics as he hears a roar that was from the seclude part of the forest.
Luci trembles as he considers his chance of survival. Right now, he is a child with some strength in him. He might have entertained fighting it head-on with a sharp and durable knife if it is his final choice, but he has nothing.
Noticing that his thoughts aren't helping him. Luci tries to calm himself down by beating his chest a little, and it works.
Luci then looks at the ring and tries to activate it by focusing his thoughts on it and touching its ornate features just to perhaps have a chance to hide in it if it is possible.
It didn't work.
With no other options. Luci sprints, following where the carriage rolled out.
He manages to run for a minute. Each time his feet absorb the shock of the result from his propulsion, a sudden pain is surprisingly getting stronger.
And then he notices it. The pain that he got from the gold coins landing on his thigh is catching up.
Luci silently curses his mind as he tries to make less of a sound for the beast to pinpoint his location even though he is following the carriage that may also be its target.
Right now. He regrets his choices. What if the beast that roared was specifically targeting the carriage, and the people were trying to make use of him as a bait to slow it down.
All desperate thoughts came to his mind together with his desire to make himself believe that he was tricked and to blame other people with his misfortune.
Luci cries and continues to run without looking back. After running for a while, he arrived at a curve to the right. He continues running, and as he approaches the curve, he sees beyond it a rice terraces.
He saw people working on the field, walking towards a wood building, and some coming out off it to spread a brown dust towards the field.
Luci finally can ask for help. He opened his mouth to scream for help, but he hesitated.
"But from farmers?" He questions himself. [What help can they give me? I'm being hunted by an animal more dangerous compared to the ones in my previous world. Am I really going to get them killed? Because I want to live?]
Luci immediately chose an answer. He spread his fingers and placed them beside both of his cheeks.
"Run! A beast is approaching! Run! A beast is approaching! Run! A beast is approaching! Run! A beast is approaching! RUN!"
The villagers stopped what they were doing after noticing someone's child is shouting at them. A few of them were skeptical, some of them tried to get closer to Luci, another went to the wooden building and took some blades and spears with them and the others runs towards their town, running towards the bottom of the terraces and took the road behind the mountains.
All of it changed when a massive roar arrived. Those who were sceptical immediately ran towards the buildings, with some of them never coming out. More people ran towards their villages, and the ones who are armed tightened their focus.
Luci, who manages to see the people who went in the building first and came out with weapons, was elated that some of them immediately came out to fight. But as euphoric he became, the closer he was to danger.
Luci hears a big stomp and a loud crack from a stick. He turns his sight to the sound and becomes horrified as he sees a huge tiger. It was 4 meters tall, grey colored with white slashes on its furr.
Luci sees it looking on the down and sniffing with its nose on the ground. He is puzzled by it behaviour, but it is working towards his favour.
Luci knew that he may have made his last choice to inform the village on the other side of the mountains, but he wanted to try to survive and live.
Luci tries to get out of its sight before it raises its head and sees him, but before he can make a second step, the huge tiger raises and has its eyes on him.
Luci knows that he is doomed and expects the tiger to run, jump, and maul him down. So he immediately bends down to take a rock to wield against the tiger and jump to the left.
Just as he expected, the tiger ran toward him at speeds, which made him question into how he managed to get this far away.
Luci jumped to the left while he was facing the tiger. He was confident that he would evade the teeth or be would be dead by its force crashing towards him. All of that crash as he saw the tiger accelerate mid-air.
It ended with Luci being raised by the tiger's mouth. He is hit by the tiger's right canine on the hip and is heavily bleeding. Luci, with his senses blaring throughout his system, is experiencing everything more than normal. He takes a look at his soon to be murderer on the eye and sees something that he doesn't like.
With one final strength, Luci hits the tiger's snout with the rock he still holds. He intended to repeat it until the tiger died, even if it was an unlikely outcome. Consequently, the tiger maliciously shakes its head and clamps harder, and a lower teeth of the tiger severs the hip away from its owner.
Luci flew to for a substantial distance. Bleeding profusely forming a little pound. He is breathing, but he is already dead. The force from the tiger shaking him was enough to kill him as his head collided with the tiger's hard head, and he landed on his head first on the ground.
The huge tiger gave Luci a disdainful look. It turns to the terraces and scoffs before going back to the forest. Unbeknownst to the tiger, the blood of Luci suddenly flew up and returned to its owner. Luci's body was healing perfectly with no damage on his body.

Luci was surprised by the voice. He was dead. Again? He expected things to be silent and uneventful.
? : (You are still alive, I am healing your body for your resurrection.)
Luci : (Wait! Please tell me that you didn't do that while I'm on the stomach of the tiger.)
? : (Why would it eat you? I just manipulated it to make you seem like a huge treat towards it. Now, it just walks away back to the forest.)
Luci tries to contain his confusion to himself.
( It was you? )
The entity didn't reply to him.
Anger burst from Luci upon the realizing the cause. ( Why would you do that!?)
? : ( I did that for you)
Luci : ( How does that help me? You should have done nothing instead of sending a menace against me!)
? : ( It was done so you can experience what may happen when you are not taking life seriously. You may have noticed it or not, but I am not here. The one that is talking to you now is a part of me I left so it can guide you on this world. I am dealing with problems that you can not hope to solve by being weak. I want you to become strong and help me. I should have sent you more help in that department, but I can't. If I waver against the fight and help you, all if not, everything would be lost in a distant world. The best thing I can do is send a part of me and help you whenever death is hard to evade.)
Luci gets even more frustrated. Its hints of something bigger happening compared to what his experiencing. He took it as subtle insult.
Luci : ( How about you tell me what's -)
? : ( Everything is your choice. You can do whatever you want with whatever you'll achieve after this, and I will accept it. But please forgive me. I was desperate, and only you in that destroyed world have the probability of accepting my proposal at the end of your journey in this world.
