Chereads / King of black / Chapter 2 - Coming back

Chapter 2 - Coming back

I open my eyes, feeling the caress of sunlight on my eyelids.

Light...

How many years has it been since I last saw light?

I don't know...

But the light is so beautiful.

I turn my face around, still the same old cabin, the smell of damp wood fills the whole room.

When I try to get up, my bed creaks.

Even though I always hated that sound, this time, I liked it.

I get up from the bed and go to the window.

I place my hand on the window glass and look at the sunlight filtering through the trees, its warm light shining down on me.

Then, I step away from the window and head towards the door of the room. When I open the door,

I see something I've tried to see for twenty years but...

I couldn't.

But now, what I wanted to see was right in front of my eyes.

My parents, along with my younger brother, were having breakfast.

Ayan, while eating breakfast, turned his face towards me when he heard the door open and gave me a beautiful smile.

A pure smile that showed his childlike innocence.

I smiled back and then walked towards the wooden table where my family was having breakfast.

Without saying anything, I sat on the chair next to my father and started eating breakfast.

My father looked at me in surprise and said,

"Akash, why are you so quiet today, unlike always?"

He didn't know that the person sitting next to him now wasn't the same Akash who was a pure teenager,

But rather, he was a disaster that had befallen the entire world.

But Akash didn't say these words and just smiled and said,

"It's nothing important, I'm just a bit out of it today."

After hearing the response, Lian, who was Akash's father, didn't say anything more to Akash.

Everyone at the breakfast table was laughing and happy.

They were talking to each other, and Akash was just looking at them, thinking...

Just three years...

I have three years to prepare myself to face that disaster...

This time I will win!

Even though Akash was replaying the scenes of that disaster in his mind, he showed nothing on the outside.

Lian knew his son well, but...

He didn't recognize the person sitting next to him now. The calmness Akash had was different from his usual self.

He always had the aura of an energetic teenager, but now his aura was like that of a cold-blooded killer.

After finishing his breakfast, Akash got up from his chair without saying anything and headed towards the cabin's exit. When he stepped out of the wooden cabin,

He smelled the scent of dew on the grass and the leaves of the trees.

A familiar yet strange smell...

Hearing footsteps, he turned his face in another direction.

No matter how much he looked at that corner of the forest, he didn't see anyone, there was nothing there, not even the light that illuminated the whole forest.

This darkness was familiar to him. Akash, even though he was just staring into the depths of the dark forest, felt like he was looking into himself.

A darkness that had not received the warmth of the sun, something known to villains.

Darkness...

What is darkness?

Darkness is actually the absence of light. When there is no light, darkness comes into being.

Darkness cannot prove its existence by itself, its existence is dependent on the existence of light.

A light that never shines on it.

So if villains are darkness, then it can be understood that villains cannot be the reason for their own existence.

Their existence means a part of the world that light has not reached.

Villains are not born from mothers, yes, villains are made.

Villains, like all creatures, are born, but they are not villains from the start...

They become villains through the bitterness of life, villains are those who have not received light...

People, instead of becoming the light that drives darkness away from them, cursed them.

And to save themselves, they depended on those they called light.

Heroes...

Lights that, instead of trying to destroy the darkness of the villains, destroyed the villains along with their darkness.

No one...

Ever...

Tried to understand the villains, no one tried to empathize with them, it was as if the villains had a separate and unreachable world.

And yet...

I was never upset by this; instead, I want to be the light that shines on this corrupt world.

Not a bright and beautiful light, but a corrupt light, like the corruption of this world and its laws.

I will be a black light, a light everyone hates, but this light will destroy the false lights

And reveal the true lights...
