Meeting Mr Damien
Chapter one
I have been living in hell called a house since I turned eighteen years old.
It all started the day I clocked eighteen.
My aunt always condemned me, saying my peer mates were all providing for the needs of the family, but here I was, eating the food she provided.
I was busy with my chores one day when a black sleek Benz drove into our house.
At first, I was surprised, because my aunt never mentioned to me that she would be inviting over some guests.
Moreover, if we were having important guests coming over, she would have prepared so much and made sure everything was in order before the guests arrived, but today was different.
I quickly rushed inside to listen to their conversation as curiosity had taken the best part of me.
Mrs Eric, my aunt welcomed them and ushered them to their seats.
They began to discuss, and no matter how much I tried to sneak peek, I couldn't hear a word.
" Don't worry, she can do the job, but you have to pay two million dollars." I heard my aunt say.
A shout tore off my lips, and I immediately flew my hands over my mouth, to muffle the sound that tore off my lips.
Although I had no idea who my aunt was talking about, the amount she called Washuge could change our lives forever.
Unfortunately for me, my aunt heard me scream just a second ago, so she called me in.
As I walked into the sitting room, I felt uncomfortable under the scrutinizing gazes of the two huge men inside the room.
I didn't dare to look up. Their gaze was boring holes in my body, and I bit my lips.
" Adriana," My aunt called my name, causing my heart to race uncontrollably.
The gentleness with which she called my name made my heart skip.
She had never called me so softly before, and I knew that something was up.
" Yes, aunt." My voice came out in a whisper.
I didn't have the guts to reply, not without having the slightest understanding of what was going on.
" Go get your things, you're going with them." She ordered, and I felt my stomach churned.
My jaw dropped and I was shot of words. I never knew my aunt wanted to sell me to this ugly-looking man for two million dollars.
I raised my head slowly, and my eyes met with one of the men.
I immediately looked away due to how scary he looked.
He had a big scar across his face and a cold expression that made me freeze.
" Aunt, I.... can't...go."
Before I could speak further, my aunt glared at me.
If looks could kill, I would be six feet below the ground.
" Go get your things now!" She ordered in a stern voice.
When they arrived, I was amazed to see such a building I had never seen in my life since the day I was out of my mother's womb. Should I say I was in a mansion or a palace? when I came down from the car, I was still wondering what the inside could look like when a gorgeous lady tapped me.
"Please are you Adrian's Mark, the lady in red who just walked up to me said ", I can't get how she got to know my name
"Hello------ the lady said "
Oh, sorry, please, how did u know my name? I didn't mention it when you walked up to me, I said, full of surprise.
" I know, before your arrival, we were told that you would join us today, and sorry for not introducing myself am LilianJohnsonn, and I live in Beijing, I was also brought here the day I clocked eighteen, so welcome She said "
" Thank you I answered '"
She walked me inside; I met a lot of people inside, running from one angle to another, doing one or two things; the place was very big and wide. I was assigned to always keep the master room clean and prepare his food; I thought it was just a minor job, not knowing what awaited me.
The arrival of my master was a mystery cause have never seen anybody as wicked as my aunt, my master is cold-hearted man, his handsome and has a baby face, you Dare not look him in the eyes while his talking cause if you do you will be taking into the dark room for seven days without no food nor water.
The Encounter
As I trudged through the dusty streets, my mind consumed by thoughts of escape, a chance encounter changed everything. I stumbled upon a secluded alleyway, seeking a moment of respite from the relentless turmoil of my daily existence. And that's when I saw him, Mr. Damien.
His presence was like a breath of fresh air in the suffocating darkness that surrounded me. With his piercing gaze and enigmatic smile, he exuded an aura of mystery and power that captivated me instantly. I couldn't tear my eyes away from him, a strange sense of recognition stirring within me.
We exchanged a few words, our conversation tinged with an undercurrent of unspoken understanding. It was as if we were two lost souls drawn together by a force beyond our comprehension; throughout our conversation, my heart kept racing. In that fleeting moment, I felt a glimmer of hope ignite within me, a spark of possibility that had long been extinguished in the depths of my despair.
As we parted ways, a sense of anticipation buzzed around me. The encounter with Damien lingered in my mind, filling me with an inexplicable sense of longing, but I had to behave cause I am here to work. Little did I know that our paths were destined to cross again, leading me down a path of discovery and revelation that would change my life forever.
