Chapter 11: Minecraft?! & System Update?

Month 0060, Day 1826, Year 0005, Time Unknown, Location: The Mountain Dimension.

It's been five long years since Zinthara Helios went MIA, Leaving Sterling & the girls stranded and unaging. During this time, Sterling managed to construct a spacious five-bedroom house with three bathrooms & an open-plan island kitchen. Despite the lack of Wi-Fi, Sterling used his skills to summon plenty of food, Create a comfortable environment, And even procure TVs & computers to keep themselves entertained.

Sterling activated his Pid-Pad, A high-tech communication device, to reach out to Team RWBY & JNPR from the world of Remnant-439. He urgently informed them about a distressing situation: He and a group of three girls were trapped in a dimension located within a treacherous mountain. And even told them how he managed to construct a spacious five-bedroom house with three bathrooms & an open-plan island kitchen.

In Sterling's recent communications with the RWBY Team of Remnant-439, Sterling found the exchange to be quite helpful & nice to do. Neo even expressed her regret and apologized for her actions, Acknowledging the harm she caused to Yang and nearly causing harm to Ruby.

Yang & Ruby graciously accepted Neo's heartfelt apologies & expressed their desire to remain friends, Extending an invitation for Neo to reconnect if she ever returns to Remnant-439.

Neo's lips curled into a gentle smile as she considered her request, And after a moment of contemplation, She nodded in agreement. She promised to fulfill her request if she ever found herself back in Remnant-439.

After spending three years Sterling started developing Minecraft, To venture into the world of game development by creating his own version of Minecraft. Once he completed the game, He delved into mod development, Adding unique modifications to enhance the gaming experience like adding Witchcraft, Industrialcraft, TerraFirmaCraft, And Horrorcraft.

Even adding The Man in the Fog, Cave Dweller, Herobrine, Skinwalker, Wendigo, Helpful Alex, Alex the Hunter, Human Villages, Better Villages, Better Villagers/Smarter Villagers, Better Golems, More Golems, Backpack Upgrades, Better Sleeping, Sitting Plus, Item Physics, Better Water Physics, Better Windows, Furniture, Fantasy Furniture, Builder Delight, More Stairs, Slabs, & Walls, Bridges Maker, Boids, More Storage, Farmer Delight, CropToopa, WayStones, Create Mod, Let's Do Candle Light, Let's Do Vinery, Let's Do Bakery, Let's Do Brewery, Enhanced Enchanting, Better Gender Models, Better Caves, Cave Collapses, Better Mineshafts, More Ores, Better Strongholds, Biome Strongholds, Traped Strongholds, Better Nether Realm, Enhanced Nether Realm, And The Aether Realm.

Sterling had created an innovative platform called Advanced Realism World, Designed for immersive gaming experiences where players were teleported to other worlds. However, there was a chilling revelation - if a player died in the game, they would also perish in real life. This realization sent a shiver down Sterling's spine.

What he had thought to be a simple gaming project turned out to be a program with life-and-death consequences. Determined to rectify this grave issue, Sterling resolved to modify the platform. His goal was to ensure that only the player's consciousness would enter the game world, And he was determined to add a robust security system, One that would safely return the player to the original world if they perished in the game.

Sterling felt a sense of relief knowing that the security system was in place to protect players in his games. The reassurance provided by the security system gradually turned into excitement as he envisioned the possibility of experiencing Minecraft in person. He had previously watched videos of people playing Minecraft in virtual reality (VR) but had heard mixed reviews about the experience.

Some critics found it to be strange and claustrophobic, Attributing the discomfort to hardware limitations at the time. However, According to the information provided by his information system, Sterling wouldn't have to worry about these limitations and could fully immerse himself in the game. This revelation heightened Sterling's determination to enhance the game, Particularly focusing on creating more realistic lighting to elevate the overall gaming experience.

Sterling introduced a new set of shaders to enhance the visual experience of the game world. As he ventured into this augmented reality, he found himself immersed in a strange new environment where the sun appeared feeble and the water lacked its characteristic reflective quality.

Despite the incredible graphics, Sterling began to feel a sense of unease as he realized that he might have overlooked certain crucial elements within the game. Filled with worry, He pondered his next move.

Sterling was resolute on completing Minecraft that night. "Minecraft is finally ready," After thoroughly reviewing the game, He wearily said. Having been awake for 32 straight hours, Tirelessly developing & meticulously inspecting every aspect of the game, He was determined to eliminate any remaining bugs.

Sterling let out a heavy sigh as he absently fiddled with the controls of the computer in the game developer program. His eyes were fixed on the "Test" button, but his mind was elsewhere, Already imagining how the game would look and feel once it was submitted. He was eager to dive into testing the game right away, But the fatigue weighing him down made even the simplest tasks feel like a herculean effort.

After mustering the energy to clean up the utensils he used to eat the last of the mountain rabbits he had hunted for himself and the girls, Sterling finally allowed himself to sink into his bed, seeking respite in a peaceful slumber. The next morning, Sterling awoke with renewed excitement to finally test the game he had poured his heart and soul into.

He took a moment to use the AC to warm himself, And then eagerly pressed the launch button in the game program. In the blink of an eye, Sterling found himself transported to an entirely different place, brimming with anticipation and a touch of bewilderment.

Sterling found himself in a completely different place than the mountain house he had lived in for the past 5 years. The landscape was a stark contrast to the snowy, Pine tree-filled environment he was used to. This time, Sterling felt the warmth of the sun on his skin, And he couldn't contain his excitement. "This is magic!" He exclaimed as he looked around in awe. The scenery before him was a vivid green, with oak trees, sheep, cows, and everything he had ever imagined.

However, A sense of unease crept over him as he noticed that everything around him was perfectly square. It was as if the entire world had been squared off, Unlike anything he had seen, even in the game Minecraft. Determined to test this strange new reality, Sterling ran toward a nearby tree and, With a sense of anticipation, delivered what he had always envisioned as a powerful punch.

To his surprise, The tree didn't shatter as he had expected. Instead, It began to show cracks after a few solid punches. After a few more strikes, The trunk finally broke. Astonishingly, The tree remained floating in place, just as he had seen happen countless times through his computer screen.

The experience of witnessing this phenomenon firsthand, Using his own physical strength, left Sterling in a state of disbelief and wonder.

During this time, Sterling spent hours playing Minecraft in creative mode, Using their imagination to design and construct a futuristic & sustainable city in a genre known as SolarPunk [Watch (Building A Minecraft Solarpunk City by flowstate) This is what Sterling created in Minecraft. P.S. I loved this video!]

Sterling carefully maneuvered the mouse cursor to the launch button located under the system interface. Upon clicking the button, The game would be launched on all non-exclusive digital platforms, with the exception of digital stores for specific consoles or game brands.

This meant that any store that welcomed independent developers would feature his game, Almost as if he had personally signed up to promote his game in those stores. After clicking "launch," The process would begin.

Today marked a monumental shift...

Pov: Ned Leeds

In a cozy apartment in the suburbs of New York City, A bored, Slightly overweight teenager named Ned was idly browsing through the world's most popular online game store. Disappointed by the overwhelming number of games featuring repetitive themes such as World War II, Fighting Nazis, Or aggressive monetization tactics, Ned felt disheartened.

His budget constraints meant that he was always at a disadvantage compared to other players in such games, Leading him to give up on them. Despite his efforts, Ned couldn't find any games that piqued his interest, even after scouring the "Recently Added" section.

However, Amid the sea of war-themed games, one particular title stood out: A pixel art game with a simple, square font displaying the name "Minecraft." Intrigued by its unique appearance, Ned clicked on the game's page, only to find scant information and a few promotional images depicting a square character tending to a farm with various animals.

Pondering whether it was a farming simulation game, Ned felt a spark of excitement at the prospect of exploring a game world so different from the war-centric ones he was used to.

Despite his initial reservations about potential hidden costs, The game's reasonable price of $20 convinced him to give it a try, hoping it would provide him with days of entertainment. With cautious optimism, He clicked the "play" button, eager to delve into this new gaming experience.

When Ned pressed the play button, a strange sensation of dizziness washed over him. As he regained his bearings, the previously obscure surroundings began to come into focus. Having been enclosed in the darkroom for a significant period, Ned's eyes took a moment to adjust to the sudden influx of light.

An overwhelming fear gripped him as he grappled with the disorienting transition. "Did I die? Will I become a soldier in my next life?" He pondered aloud, His voice trembling with anxiety. Desperation seized him & he let out a heart-wrenching cry as tears streamed down his face. Collapsing to his knees, Ned's mind swirled with overwhelming emotions.

Ned found himself on his knees in a field of lush green grass, feeling disoriented and surrounded by vibrant colors. He reached up to wipe away his tears and glanced around, taking in the surreal beauty of the place. Confusion clouded his mind as he pondered whether he had entered the gates of heaven.

To his surprise, He noticed a peculiar square-shaped object and questioned whether it could be heaven at all. As he attempted to process the bewildering scenario, a floating screen materialized before him, piquing his curiosity.

With cautious steps, Ned approached the screen and discovered the words "Minecraft: Singleplayer, Multiplayer coming soon, Mods coming soon, Quit." The realization hit him like a ton of bricks – was this a game? Nervously, He reached out and tapped the exit button.

Suddenly, A wave of dizziness washed over him, but this time it felt less intense. In an instant, He found himself back in his own room, facing the Minecraft launcher screen with the cursor hovering over the play button.

Bewildered, He took in the familiar surroundings of his room, unchanged from when he had left. Despite his initial fear of the game, Ned's curiosity as a dedicated gamer was piqued. He felt compelled to delve deeper into this unusual experience, eager to uncover what lay ahead in the game world.

Ned felt an irresistible urge to delve deeper into the unknown, His expression exuding confidence like a seasoned warrior preparing for battle. With a determined resolve, Ned pressed play again, and as he opened his eyes, he found himself once more in the vibrant, green, and square world.

This time, however, he resisted the urge to exit and instead chose the single-player option. As he hit the button, The screen vanished, leaving Ned to gaze around in curiosity. To his surprise, He noticed that his arms had transformed into square shapes, seemingly to match the world around him.

Puzzled, Ned discovered a backpack on his back and decided to inspect its contents. Much to his amazement, Instead of finding typical items, Ned found a floating screen, a book, a box, and several empty spaces.

Intrigued, He gingerly retrieved the book from the backpack & began to read the instructions, Feeling a sense of bewilderment and excitement as he delved into the mysterious contents.

Ned approached the towering tree with a mix of trepidation & excitement, His heart racing as he prepared to engage with this strange new world. He paused for a moment, Taking a deep breath, grounding himself as he steeled his resolve.

With his fists clenched, He closed his eyes, bracing for the impact that he had anticipated would come from punching the solid trunk. As he swung his fist forward, He was met with an unexpected crunch—the bark splintered under his blow, and he felt an exhilarating rush as the tree responded to his actions.

To his astonishment, The anticipated pain never arrived. Instead, A thrill surged through him as he opened his eyes to see the trunk marred with deep cracks, evidence of his newfound strength. Encouraged by this success, Ned launched another punch at the tree, this time with more force.

The cracks deepened, And with a final decisive hit, the trunk broke apart, transforming into a small floating block that hovered in front of him.

"Is this… floating?" He exclaimed, His voice a mix of disbelief & wonder. He reached out, Running his square hand around the space where the block seemed to defy gravity, his curiosity piqued. There were no strings or hidden mechanisms; It was simply suspended in mid-air.

Without a second thought, Ned picked up the small block and placed it into his backpack, Feeling a rush of excitement as he realized he could carry pieces of this world with him.

Feeling emboldened by his initial success, Ned's focus shifted to the vast expanse of the terrain around him. Ignoring the game's guiding prompts, He began to punch everything in sight—trees, dirt, sand, and stone—all responding to his strikes by breaking apart into manageable blocks.

Each punch was accompanied by the satisfying crunch of breaking material, & he reveled in the tactile experience of dismantling the world around him. Curiosity sparked, & Ned decided to experiment further. He threw one of the small blocks onto the ground, and to his amazement, it grew back to its original size upon impact. "Wow!" he gasped, the realization washing over him like a wave of nostalgia.

He recalled his childhood love for Lego, The hours spent constructing elaborate structures from colorful bricks. This was like playing with the largest set of Lego imaginable, & the possibilities were endless.

Without a moment's hesitation, Ned set off on a grand adventure, demolishing everything in his path and collecting blocks with glee. Whenever he felt a pang of hunger, He remembered the apples hanging from the trees nearby. He picked one, taking a big bite, savoring the sweet, refreshing flavor that burst in his mouth.

"If apples in real life were this good, I wouldn't mind going on a diet," He murmured to himself with a chuckle, Feeling a sense of contentment wash over him. With a newfound sense of confidence and creativity, Ned began to gather dirt blocks, piling them together to construct what he envisioned as a grand castle. "Bam! Bam! Bam!" The sounds of blocks stacking echoed in the air as his structure began to take shape.

He worked diligently, Every block meticulously placed until, at last, he stood back to admire his handiwork. "This is my castle, and I am the king! King Ned! Muahahaha!" He laughed heartily, His voice echoing across the newfound landscape, filled with joy and pride.

Suddenly, His triumphant laughter was interrupted by a deep, resonant voice that echoed around him. A chill ran down Ned's spine as he turned to face the source of the sound. His heart raced as he wondered who—or what—could be speaking to him. "Is this another player?" He pondered, Glancing around the familiar yet foreign terrain. "But I'm playing single-player! Maybe it's an NPC?"

His mind raced with possibilities as he contemplated the nature of this unexpected voice. Was it a friendly guide, or something more ominous? Ned's adventurous spirit flared, and despite the uncertainty, he felt an undeniable thrill at the prospect of encountering a new element in this game. With curiosity outweighing his fear, he prepared to face whatever lay ahead, ready to engage in this bizarre and exhilarating new reality.

The voice grew louder & louder, Sending shivers down Ned's spine. As long as he was safely tucked behind a mouse and keyboard, He had never been afraid of non-playable characters (NPCs). However, Now that he was fully immersed in the game, a deep sense of dread began to wash over him.

"Who's there?" Ned yelled, His voice echoing into the darkness. The inky blackness of the night made it nearly impossible to see more than 10 meters ahead, Intensifying Ned's fear.

Suddenly, A silhouette emerged from the darkness, and instead of feeling relief, Ned's heart pounded with terror. "Is this a zombie? But this is supposed to be a farm game! Why is there a zombie here?" Ned was absolutely horrified when he suddenly spotted a terrifying zombie standing right in front of him.

The zombie was slowly advancing towards him, Its arms outstretched as if it were about to seize him. In a frantic panic, Ned reached for his backpack and fumbled to pull out a book, desperately trying to figure out what he should do. However, the darkness made it nearly impossible to read anything in the book.

Ned found himself unable to make sense of the situation. He had carelessly left the castle entrance open, thinking it would make it easier for him to move in and out. Little did he know that his oversight had turned the hen house into an open invitation for a sly fox. Feeling helpless, Ned resorted to his instinctive response - frantic pounding and digging.

As Ned dug himself into a hiding spot, He took a miniature Earth block, not realizing that he had trapped himself in a tight 1x1x2 space. Unbeknownst to him, He had unwittingly employed a famous tactic used by novice players in Sterling's previous world.

Sterling's Pip-Pad buzzed with a notification: "Warning! Warning! The System dropped a bombshell on Sterling, Leaving him shocked & overwhelmed.

While browsing through the system store, Sterling was intrigued by the array of tabs offering various items and abilities. He observed that most items were either everyday things at low prices or extravagant powers at exorbitant costs.

Among the offerings were powers from shows, anime, and movies such as Dominic Toretto's driving skills for 3,500 Multiverse Exchange Units, Ultimate Weapon Mastery for 32,540 Multiverse Exchange Units, Gray Fullbuster's ice magic for 113,400 Multiverse Exchange Units, and Fire magic for 385,000 Multiverse Exchange Units.

Even though the enchanting powers were alluring, Sterling was more interested in Dominic Toretto's affordable driving skills. As Sterling weighed his choices, He also checked out the cost of food, recognizing the need to focus on obtaining his immediate powers & abilities before indulging in the snacks and meals he could simply common.

Feeling a mix of curiosity & apprehension, Sterling reflected on his five years of semi-isolation with Neo Politan, Diana Prince, And Alicia Zen in the mountain, wondering what kind of world he had stumbled into and fearing encounters with formidable creatures like dragons or Demon Lord who might rule the land.

Sterling sat at his desk, Deep in thought when something on the computer screen suddenly caught his eye. There was an active player in Minecraft, But it had only been less than 30 minutes since Sterling had logged in. "Has anyone already bought Minecraft?" He wondered aloud, both surprised and confused.

Intrigued, He opened the game & saw an icon of an active player with a small green button next to it. Curiosity getting the better of him, Sterling clicked on the icon and found himself in spectator mode, watching a world of Minecraft unfold on his screen.

There, A worried-looking Steve was navigating the game world, clearly afraid of something. "He's been playing for just over 20 minutes, So he's survived his first night," Sterling marveled to himself. "This is surprising. I remember my first time playing Minecraft—I died to a skeleton's arrow at night. For this player to survive the first night in such an immersive game is commendable," He said with a smile.

"Hey Sterling, What are you watching?" Neo asked, Using a new technology that Sterling made to communicate. "Hey, Do you remember the game I made called Minecardt? It's the one where players can explore a virtual world, Get resources, And build structures.

I'm thinking about adding some new features to it soon. And also It seems that someone is currently playing Minecraft, Indicating that our game world is connected to an outside world." Sterling explained to Neo.

"You do you, Sterling also it's good to know that we are connected to an outside world," Neo said.

Gradually, Sterling found himself becoming increasingly entertained as he watched a fellow player immerse themselves in the expansive world of Minecraft. Suddenly, a moment of intense excitement gripped Sterling as he witnessed the player narrowly escape a perilous encounter.

As a creeper exploded dangerously close to the player, Sterling & Neo found themselves on the brink of laughter-induced peril. Sterling couldn't help but draw parallels between this real-life Minecraft escapade and the captivating animations he had enjoyed in his previous existence.

The animation creators' remarkable talent for crafting engaging narratives within the Minecraft universe left Sterling in awe. Sterling realized that the young player had an extraordinary ability to captivate and entertain others.

With a wide grin on his face, Sterling remained engrossed in the unfolding spectacle, completely unaware that an hour had slipped by as he continued to watch the boy's adventures in this new world.

He mused about the possibility of embodying the whimsy of the gods who reincarnate humans into unknown worlds. "Maybe I'm someone's source of amusement," He thought, Before quickly dismissing the notion & acknowledging that he was simply sitting in front of a computer, creating a game.

However, A realization struck him – the player he was observing was genuinely interesting. With this thought in mind, Sterling opened the game developer used his skills & quickly coded what he needed to do, making it effortlessly simple to implement a streaming mode in the game.

Sterling felt a sense of contentment as he reflected on the impact of Live Streams in his previous life. He knew firsthand the persuasive influence they had on convincing players to purchase games.

With a satisfied smile, He glanced at the player's screen once more. Unfortunately, he observed that he was the sole individual who had bought Minecraft thus far. Nevertheless, He was confident that this would not be the case for long.

May 7, 2010, 1:17 P.M.

Pov: Ned Leeds

Ned was completely immersed in the game, so much so that he lost track of time. Almost two hours had flown by since he had started playing.

He had just discovered how to craft swords, pickaxes, shovels, and armor, and he couldn't get enough of it. The thrill of mining deeper and deeper into the caves was exhilarating, but at the same time, he was wary of encountering unknown monsters.

The memory of the green, exploding monster he had encountered earlier sent shivers down his spine, but it didn't deter him from exploring the shallower caves and venturing into the surface.

When he finally crafted his first iron armor, a sense of accomplishment washed over him. Holding the shining armor in his hands filled him with pride.

He had poured a lot of effort into obtaining it, and that made him treasure it even more. As he admired his new armor, a floating screen suddenly appeared in front of him, announcing a new game update.

This surprised Ned – he had only just purchased the game today, and there was already an update available. Despite his initial doubts, he decided to accept the update and momentarily disconnected from the game to apply the changes.

Ned stood in front of the armor, his eyes scanning the intricate details. As he carefully stowed away his old leather armor in his backpack, he noticed something out of place. Nestled next to the backpack was an unfamiliar object - a camera. Puzzled, He couldn't recall ever crafting or acquiring it.

Picking up the camera, He examined it closely. A small screen lit up, Providing an explanation. It was a streaming camera, designed for live broadcasts. Ned hesitated, Recalling a failed attempt in the past. However, He couldn't shake off the feeling of excitement and opportunity.

With a surge of determination, Ned logged into his Twitch account and activated the camera. As the light on the camera turned red, a wave of shyness washed over him. Unsure of what to do next, he held the camera, feeling a mix of nervousness and anticipation.

Parker: "Hey, Ned, are you trying streaming again? Is it a movie, dude? Be careful, you could get sued for this XD."

Seeing his best friend's text, Ned smiled and replied. "Hi, Peter, this isn't a movie! Look, it's me." And he started to move his arms as he waved from side to side.

Parker: "What, Hos are you doing this? Are you using body tracking? How did you get so much money? Hahaha."

"It's not body tracking. Look, this is the house I built. In the beginning, it was just an earth castle, but then I took some stone with my pickaxe and managed to exchange the land for stone. Now it's much tougher," Ned said as he started to show with the camera & explain the things he's done in the world since he started playing.

Parker: "Wow, how are you doing this? Please tell me, I want to try too."

Dark_Night: "Hey bro, what's this? I was passing through other live streams and saw that yours seems to be using CGI. Are you a YouTuber?"

And so, More people started arriving on Ned's livestream. Some came out of boredom, Others came because friends called, but after joining this weird livestream, no one could leave.

Everything was very new and magical for them Ned often had to explain the most basic things in the game over and over but no one got tired of hearing it as he walked around this world holding the camera viewers felt like they were somehow watching a human from another world as he explored it it was so much better than a movie.

Mini Chapter 11.5: Mutant in Minecraft.

—————————————————————

Location: The Mountain Dimension.

Pov: Sterling Schnee

Sterling was overjoyed to see the positive response to the player Live Stream, which featured a gamer named Ned. Finally, he found some entertainment.

Sterling couldn't contain his happiness as he had been isolated from the outside world, Only being able to engage in activities related to the game. Watching other people interact was a significant step forward for him. Suddenly, He heard a notification sound, indicating two new notifications from the game analytics app.

This app allowed him to monitor various aspects of the game, such as sales figures and player activity. The notifications revealed that he had sold two more copies of the game. Meanwhile, Ned's livestream had attracted 113 viewers, and the number was steadily increasing.

For someone like Ned, Who had only one follower before starting the stream, this was an amazing achievement. Furthermore, The viewers were inviting more and more friends, leading to great free publicity for Sterling's game.

[Units sold: 30 ($60)]

"My game has already sold for $20! This is amazing!" Sterling's face lit up with excitement as he hurriedly clicked on the [Converter] Tab on his computer screen. He couldn't wait to calculate the exact number of points he would earn from the sales of copies of the game.

[$20 = 10 Multiverse Exchange Units]

"Urhgg... Sterling seemed uncertain as he questioned, "$5,000 is only 500 units sold... not a lot, right? That doesn't seem like a lot."

Minecraft in his previous world had sold 600 million copies, Which was equivalent to 120 billion dollars if it sold at $20 for each copy, with such huge potential, Sterling didn't have to worry that it wouldn't yield anything for him.

The game would probably take a while to start generating more profit, But Sterling shouldn't be in a hurry.

With his mind made up, Sterling thought about eating another Cup of Noodles to celebrate...

---

The day flew by thanks to some awesome entertainment! Sterling spent the rest of the day glued to Ned's livestream & had an absolute blast. It was way more fun than just sitting around in the cabin doing nothing like he had been forced to do earlier.

The Following Day, Sterling opened [Game Analytics] & saw the Minecraft stats.

[Minecraft]

[Units Sold: 80 ($820)]

[Average Time Played: 6 hours.]

[Peak Simultaneous Players: 41]

"This... do I already have enough for 80 Multiverse Exchange Units?!" Sterling was excited.

Adding to the $1,765,591,581 Multiverse Exchange Units he had previously, He could now convert that money & have $1,765,591,661 Multiverse Exchange Units.

It was most likely too much, But he had noticed that more players had started making Minecraft Livestream, Which would draw even more attention to the game, providing more sales for it in the future.

"I think the next thing I should develop is multiplayer. This will attract even more people, I just need to use 100 Multiverse Exchange Units but before that..." Sterling chatted to himself.

He wanted to launch Minecraft with Multiplayer Mode, But Sterling had to just left a [Coming Soon] button next to multiplayer in the game.

With 5,000 Multiverse Exchange Units, He could buy a server that would support 15,000 people playing online, Which was a pretty good number considering that 15,000 people would earn him 1,500 Multiverse Exchange Units.

"For now all I want to do is wait..." Sterling sighed as he opened [Game Following] & started watching Ned's livestream again.

He was surprised that there were already 142 people watching Ned's livestream, that was pretty fast growth for someone who didn't have any followers yesterday.

Until a notification popped up in front of him that left him a little confused.

[Ding, A Mutant, has just bought the game. Do you want to give permission to use his mutant abilities in the game?]

"A mutant? What are mutants? Maybe humans killed a beast and absorbed the essence of it? Or a human who was born with problems?" Sterling started to wonder curious, still thinking that this could be a world of magic.

Sterling knew the X-Men, But for some reason, he was so focused that this could be a world of Dragons and Magic that he didn't think it was a mutant he knew well.

"What does it cost to allow this?" Sterling asked the system.

[To allow mutants to use abilities in the game requires 25,000 Multiverse Exchange Units for 1250 mutants, If the user wanted to allow mutants to lend abilities to humans in the game, 30,000 Multiverse Exchange Units will be needed for 1250 humans to receive abilities. ]

Seeing this Sterling was shocked. That would be very interesting to see. Humans are prejudiced beings, he doesn't doubt that these mutants suffer prejudice wherever they go, but allowing them to lend abilities could make humans see them differently.

"I'll do it when I have enough time, It's good to be a considerate game developer!" Sterling thought with a proud smile.

He just didn't know that this move would attract a lot more attention than he imagined around the world.

Pov: Kurt Wagner

Kurt Wagner was looking for a fun livestream channel to watch, but he was tired of just seeing people playing shooting or war games, these games were cool to play for a year or two, but since he was a kid these were the only types game he had available to play, it became very repetitive...

One day, while rummaging through the Twitch website, Kurt found something different.

An upcoming livestream event with a captivating & thought-provoking title that has piqued my interest.

[Minecraft: A New World]

Curious, He clicked on this livestream to see what was so special about this game, but what he saw surprised Kurt.

On his screen was a small square man holding a camera & talking to people while tending a large farm.

If the man wasn't square, Kurt would think this was just an IRL Livestream from some farmer who just wanted company. But no, the square man was wearing armor on his body while he had a sword strapped to his waist, this was not something that happened on farms.

Curious he typed a message in the chat.

[Crawler: "What is this? I am new here."]

Kurt didn't imagine the man's answer would come practically in an instant.

"Haha, this is your first-time friend Crawler? Don't be surprised, everyone is like that after seeing Minecraft for the first time. This is a virtual reality game where you go to another world and you can have your own adventures. side of the barn? I was the one who built it with my own hands!" Ned said excitedly as he pointed to the house he was so proud to build.

Kurt was very surprised to see this, as the man responded almost instantly. 'Is this really a game? I thought it was some kind of movie or some new technology for V-Tubers, but the way this man is acting and showing everything around him while interacting with objects, it really feels like a game!' Kurt was excited.

With excitement, He opened the game store and bought the game right away.
