Naturally, Issei's first instinct was to find civilization. Not because he needed food or shelter—he didn't. His dragon powers already eliminated trivial human needs like hunger or exhaustion. No, his true mission was something much more critical:
"To find a fantasy harem, duh! I'm in a new world! The potential here is endless!" Issei grinned to himself, his excitement radiating.
In record time, he reached a bustling town filled with adventurers, merchants, and armored knights. His glowing gauntlet attracted plenty of stares, but nobody seemed hostile.
"Hey, hey!" Issei called out to the first person he saw—a young receptionist at the Adventurer's Guild counter. She was a blonde elf with pointy ears and a curvy figure. "Excuse me, beautiful miss! I'd like to register as an adventurer and protect cute girls all over the world!"
The elf receptionist blinked, a bit startled. "U-uh, sure, sir. Please fill out this form and take a magic power assessment."
Issei handed her the form in seconds. The real fun began when they placed him in front of the testing crystal—a massive gem that gauged an adventurer's power level.
"Just place your hand on the crystal, sir," the receptionist said sweetly. "Don't worry—most people score between 100 and 200."
Grinning confidently, Issei slammed his gauntlet-covered hand onto the gem. BOOST!
The crystal immediately shattered.
The receptionist stared, slack-jawed. So did everyone else in the guild hall.
"D-did I pass?" Issei asked innocently.
