(first pov)
My last few days in Manila passed in a whirlwind of excitement and preparation. I packed my belongings, said goodbye to my friends and family, and daydreamed about the elite training and luxurious facilities awaiting me at Coral Heights. On the day of my departure, my mom accompanied me to the airport, their pride and support evident in their tearful smiles and tight hugs, "make sure to call when you have time baby" my mom said, "I will mom" I reply,
The journey to the private island was unlike anything I had ever experienced. I was flown in a private jet, and from the window, I marveled at the turquoise waters and lush greenery below. "So this is Coral Heights Basketball Academy it's even better when you really see with your own eyes" I said with surprised expression. As the plane descended towards the island, I could see the expansive grounds of Coral Heights Academy, including its state-of-the-art basketball courts and modern buildings.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who introduced herself as Ms. Castillo, the academy's student coordinator "Good morning I'm Ms Castillo and i am Coral Height's student coordinator", I will lead you to your villa. She led me to my villa, a stunning residence with a view of the ocean, and showed me around the facilities.
Marco: wowwww I'm this place is amazing!!!
Ms Castillo: I'm glad you love it
The academy was even more impressive in person, and I felt a surge of motivation as I took it all in.
Marco's mind: This is where I will get better and become a pro!!!(With excitement and determination)
After Ms. Castillo left, I got settled in my villa it was so comfortable and luxurious, I never expected that a basketball Academy had so much money for this, wait how many players are in the academy? Wasn't it 500? Does that mean there are 500 villas? Damn they rich rich, after being in my thoughts for a minute or so I started unpacking and noticed it was already late and went to sleep immediately.
The next morning, I woke up early, eager to start my training. I donned my new training gear and headed to the main basketball court, where the academy's head coach, Coach Rivera, was waiting. A former professional player with a reputation for developing top talent, Coach Rivera greeted me with a warm smile.
"Welcome to Coral Heights, Marco. We've heard great things about you," Coach Rivera said, extending his hand. "Let's see what you've got."
I joined a group of other players who had arrived from all over the world. We began with warm-ups and drills, and I quickly realized that I was surrounded by incredibly skilled athletes. The competition was fierce, but it only fueled my determination to prove myself.
After training was finished I was resting at one of the benches and one of the players went up to me and he introduced himself
???: hey you must be the new guy, I'm Max Cawkwell, Its my second year here, I'm from Australia, it's nice to meet you
Marco: it's nice to meet you too, I'm Marco, I'm from Manila
Max:
