Hajin sat on one of the waiting chairs, staring blankly at the floor, her body trembling uncontrollably. Lee Hoon wrapped a protective arm around her, though his own face was contorted in worry for Song Yujin and his brother, Lee Hyun.
Lee Hyun, on the other hand, could hardly breathe as he stepped closer to Yujin's bed. His vision blurred with tears as he reached out and took Yujin's hand despite the people surrounding him, his fingers cold to the touch.
"Wake up…Yujin. Don't scare me…" his voice barely a whisper.
Kim Jonghyun watched Lee Hyun and let the kid stay with Yujin.
But as Lee Hyun held Yujin's hand, a strange sensation washed over him—something distant and yet so familiar. A warmth spread through his chest, and for a fleeting moment, he felt a faint squeeze from Yujin's hand.
His heart skipped a beat, and hope surged through him.
