Yujin turned, startled, as a firm hand gripped his arm. His surprise quickly turned into relief when he saw Lee Hyun standing there, his usual calm expression plastered on his face. Yujin let out a loud sigh of relief.
"What are you doing here, vice pres.? Did you follow me? Do you have something to say?" Yujin threw a barrage of questions. His excitement was visible in his tone because finally, he got to talk with Lee Hyun again.
"You're walking alone," Lee Hyun stated casually. It wasn't a question at all, so his tone made Yujin confused.
Yujin looked to his left and right and then titled his head. "I am…?"
Lee Hyun replied, his voice steady but serious. "It's past eight already. Come with me, I'll take you home."
The vice president turned his back to Yujin before the latter could answer. He headed to the car parked not far from them, and when he didn't hear footsteps following him, he glanced over his shoulder again, giving Yujin a look.
