Yves's heart pounded in his chest. Despite trying his best to keep his emotions hidden, it seemed that Alterain caught up with them. In just a blink, the knight commander was right before him, looking down at him with those blazing blue eyes.
He repeated in a voice dark and dangerous. "Your Highness, is it yours?"
Yves opened his mouth. But now words came out. Should he deny his own son? He couldn't do it. However, that silence was taken in the wrong way.
Alterain grabbed Yves's shoulders tightly and shook him. "Hah! Tell me it's not yours, Your Highness!"
Yves glared. Did he really despise the thought of having a child with him? Yves pushed the commander away, but Alterain did not budge. Yves then yelled, "And what if it's mine?! It's none of your business!"
