YiBo arrived at Nia's house and saw his mother's car parked in the driveway, signaling she was inside. He walked up to the living room door and knocked. It wasn't long before the door opened, and he locked eyes with Nia. She immediately turned to leave, but he quickly looked around the living room, noticing it was empty. He grabbed her arm gently and said, "Come on, Nia, did I offend you in any way?"
Nia didn't respond, remaining silent. He moved further into the living room, closed the door, and still holding her, lowered his voice, "Come on, Nia, did I do something wrong? If I did, I'm sorry. Please don't punish me."
She refused to meet his eyes and briefly said, "Please, we're busy in the kitchen. Let go of me."
YiBo glanced around the living room again before embracing her softly, whispering, "I'm sorry, dear, I truly am."
As if she had been holding it in, Nia suddenly burst into tears and said, "Is it because your boyfriend ran away that you're acting like this, ignoring me?"
YiBo quickly replied, "No, Nia. Boyfriend? Come on... I was just worried because his parents trusted me to bring him to Shanghai to stay at our place. If anything happened to him, I wouldn't know how to face them. That's the only reason I've been on edge, but thank God he's back home now. It's all fine."
Tears still streaming down her face, Nia said, "We're supposed to be engaged, but you don't seem excited. You're not even talking about the wedding, let alone making any plans. You've been ignoring me for at least two weeks…"
YiBo's eyes widened, "Isn't the wedding in a month? I've been counting, Nia. I know we only have 15 days left, and you know I've never been into big occasions or events. I told you that years ago. So, it'll just be the wedding and a small reception at home. But if Mom or you want to do something with your friends, that's fine. I'll cover all the costs, but count me out of any parties."
Nia said nothing. He gently wiped away her tears and whispered, "You know I care about you, dear. I wouldn't want you to be upset because of me. Please forgive me, okay, my future wife?"
Just then, the kitchen door opened, and YiBo quickly let her go and took a step back. His eyes widened as he asked, "Where's Mom?"
Before Nia could answer, they heard their mothers' voices. YiBo winked at her and said, "Let me go inside." With that, he headed towards the living room where his mom was sitting. Nia watched him go. He entered the room, and his mother stared at him while he greeted Nia's mom politely. She smiled warmly and asked how his trip was. Afterward, he glanced at his own mother, who was still staring at him, and said, "Hello, Mom."
Nia's mom stood up and excused herself, leaving the room for them. His mother continued to stare at him, "I don't see anything in your hands," she said quietly.
YiBo responded hesitantly, "Like what, Mom?"
She shot him a sharp look, "Don't play dumb with me. Where are the documents and keys you took?"
YiBo fell silent. She continued, "I've noticed you have no regard for my peace of mind, Ai Bo. Every time something could upset me, you never avoid it. What exactly are you lacking in life? Are you missing a car or a house? What's your salary now? How much do you earn every month? Tell me, or is it just ungratefulness that's troubling you?"
YiBo just stared at her, unable to respond. Frustrated, she added, "Instead of sitting down and planning your wedding, you're stirring up problems. Is this really the right time to collect your things, Ai Bo, unless you have a hidden agenda we don't know about? Are you okay? With your wedding just around the corner, why are you focused on your keys and documents?"
Softly, YiBo said, "I'm sorry, Mom. I didn't mean to upset you."
She scoffed, "Oh, you did it to upset me. You know everything always comes back to me. You're lacking nothing, so why are you worried about documents or house keys? Was this really necessary?"
He remained silent. She added, "Go wherever you took them from and bring them back to me. Even though you don't get along with him, he's planning on sending millions for the wedding. Yet, here you are, acting foolishly. If you had just been patient, I know he would have given you the house keys once the wedding was done. After all, that's where the bride will live. But I don't know what's going through your mind."
YiBo looked up at her as she shook her head, "I'm very disappointed, Ai Bo."
Quietly, he replied, "I'm sorry, Mom. I really am."
She stayed silent for a moment before saying, "And why hasn't Bella been able to reach you for days? You're not answering her calls?"
His eyes widened slightly, "No, I didn't see her calls. Or maybe I missed them, but I'll call her back."
His mother continued, "And that boy, he's back at his parents' house now, right?"
YiBo nodded, "Yes."
She sighed, "He never really settled at our place anyway. It's good he's back with his parents. They'll keep a closer eye on him. I wasn't comfortable with him staying with us, especially with his past behavior at school. Who knows what he'd be up to while we're here, unaware. I'm glad he's gone."
YiBo said nothing. She added, "That boy needs strict supervision. At his age, if he can do what he did on social media, there's no telling what else he's capable of. Imagine him sneaking off to Beijing in the middle of the night. I still can't believe it."
YiBo stayed quiet. His mother continued, "So, how did it go with his parents when you went there?"
YiBo shook his head, "Nothing serious. The important thing is he's back home now. We weren't able to handle him properly."
She sighed, "Did you explain how we lost track of him?"
He shook his head, "There was no need. When he stayed with Aunty Bella, he never once tried to run away. He was upset and cried the whole time after she left."
His mother, still staring at him, asked, "What are you trying to say now?"
He replied, "Nothing."
At that moment, Nia entered the living room, carrying a tray with water and juice. She greeted YiBo's mom, "Hello, Auntie."
His mom responded, "Hello, Nia. Are you done cooking?"
Nia shook her head, "No, there's still a bit left."
With that, she left the room. YiBo picked up a water bottle, opened it, and took a sip. His mother said, "Go get those documents for me right now."
He replied, "Okay, but can it wait until tomorrow? It's almost 6 now."
"Why not today?" she asked.
"They're not nearby. I'll have to go far to get them," he explained.
"If you hadn't done this, I could have gone to your dad and asked him to give you the house keys. I'm sure he wouldn't have refused. But instead, you've made a mess of things."
YiBo remained silent, his thoughts drifting back home. He was eager to return before nightfall. His mom added, "Get me some fresh fruit too. When I get home, I want a fresh drink."
"Is there none at home?" he asked.
"No, I need fresh ones."
"Okay." With that, he stood up, "But I don't have a car, Mom."
"Take the keys from the driver. He's outside. I'll call him to give them to you."
YiBo got up and headed for the door. Nia was still sitting in the living room. He approached her and said, "I'm going to the grocery store. I'll be back soon."
She looked up at him and asked, "Can we go together?"
"Sure," he replied.
She stood up, "Let me tell Mom."
With that, she went to inform her mother. YiBo stepped outside, where the driver was standing next to his mother's car. Without any words or pleasantries, he extended his hand and said, "Give me the keys."
The driver handed them over, as YiBo's mom had already called ahead to inform him. Otherwise, the driver wouldn't have given them. If there was anyone YiBo despised in life, it was the Security Army Personnel. He felt like strangling them whenever he saw them, yet there were more than 30 in their household. With a scowl, he opened the car door and got in.
As he sat in the driver's seat, Nia came out, looking so cute. He glanced at her once, then quickly looked away. She opened the passenger door and got in. The guard opened the gate, and they drove out of the house.
YiBo, while driving, asked, "So where do you suggest I rent an apartment for us?"
Nia responded, "But why are you speeding like this?"
He replied, "My friend is waiting for me before 6, and as you can see, it's almost time, so I need to hurry."
She said, "Alright, but slow down, please."
He nodded and said, "Okay." She then added, "We'll stay wherever you think is best, right?" He smiled and nodded again. After he bought some fruit for his mom, Nia said, "Please, I want to do a little shopping, but not too much."
He replied, "Let's leave it for tomorrow, Nia. You can see I'm in a hurry now." She fell silent and then said, "Okay." He didn't slow down as she'd requested, and they soon arrived home. After parking, she opened the car door and got out. He widened his eyes slightly, realizing he hadn't offered her any ice cream or pizza, which she loved. This was the first time they'd gone out together, and he hadn't bought her anything.
In a low voice, he called, "Nia."
She turned to look at him, and he gently said, "I'm sorry, I forgot to get you anything. But let me order something for you…"
Quickly, she said, "No, it's fine. I know you were in a rush. Tomorrow, when we go out, we can get it."
He smiled and said, "Thank you." He left the fruits in the car and handed the keys to the driver before following her into the house.
Standing in the living room, YiBo informed his mom that the fruits were still in the car. Lily asked, "Aren't you going to stay and eat? What's with all this rushing?"
Quickly, he said, "No, Mom, I'm full."
She asked, "What are you rushing for, then?"
He widened his eyes a bit and said, "No, I'm not rushing. I just don't want it to be 6 o'clock, and I'm still here."
Lily asked, "Have you opened up your own house yet?"
For a moment, his heart skipped a beat. He shook his head quickly and said, "Not at all. I'm staying at my friend's house."
She asked, "What time will you bring the documents tomorrow?"
He replied, "In the morning."
She said, "Okay." After saying goodbye to her, she added, "Wait, why don't we leave together? I can drop you off wherever you're going since I'm also about to head home."
He mustered the courage to say, "No, I'm fine, Mom. The cab I ordered has been waiting outside for a while now."
Softly, she said, "Alright." He left the living room, and she watched him go. He didn't say goodbye to Nia or her mother before leaving the house.

At 6:30, YiBo arrived at his house. On his way, he had stopped by a restaurant to pick up food, drinks, and bottled water. About three houses away, he noticed four soldiers standing guard at someone's gate. He began to wonder whose house it could be that needed such heavy security. He hated seeing soldiers crowding a house entrance. He pulled out his house key from his pocket, unlocked the door, and entered.
As he opened the door to the main living room, Zhan stood up quickly. YiBo closed the door and approached, looking at him. One could tell from his appearance that Zhan had cried quite a bit. Zhan avoided eye contact, sat back down on the carpet, and looked away, scowling.
YiBo set the bag in his hand down and headed upstairs, with Zhan glaring at him the whole time.
Ten minutes later, Zhan hadn't seen YiBo come back downstairs. He pulled the bag closer, slowly opened it, and found white rice and fried rice in separate containers, along with side dishes. He picked up the white rice and began eating. By the time he finished his meal, YiBo still hadn't come down.
Zhan returned the empty container and pushed the bag away. Just then, YiBo came downstairs, now wearing only a vest and three-quarter-length pants. Zhan had never seen him dressed like that before. YiBo walked over to the bag, saw the empty container, and looked at Zhan for about 20 seconds before saying, "You used to deny people food in your house. Here, no one stops you from eating. I bought it, but you didn't even wait for me to offer it to you before taking it. Who does that?"
Only then did Zhan look at him. After a pause, he said, "And what did you do to deserve being denied food at my home?"
As if waiting for this, YiBo sat down and said, "I did nothing. It's just because you're difficult."
Zhan gave him a look and said, "Well, maybe you should remind me what I did."
YiBo kept staring at him while Zhan pouted, stood up, grabbed a half-empty water bottle, and moved to sit in another chair across the room.
YiBo smiled, opened the fried rice he'd left for Zhan, and began eating. Every now and then, they would make eye contact, and Zhan would quickly look away. This happened three times. On the fourth, Zhan got up abruptly, and YiBo asked, "Where are you going?"
Without making eye contact, Zhan started to walk upstairs, but YiBo quickly stood up, grabbed his hand, and said, "No, come back. Let's finish talking. There's still time before bed." Without argument, Zhan followed YiBo to the large couch in the living room. YiBo sat down and pulled Zhan onto his lap, cuddling him as he continued sharing his story.
Zhan lifted his head, looking at YiBo's face. He said, "So, you came to Beijing, but I never heard how you met…" He paused for a moment before continuing, "Nia." Then he pouted and buried his face into YiBo's neck. YiBo chuckled, and Zhan whined, giving him a light punch on the chest.
Smiling softly, YiBo took Zhan's hand, kissed the back of it, and asked, "Is my baby husband jealous?" Zhan pouted again and snuggled closer. As he looked up, YiBo's Adam's apple caught his attention, and all Zhan wanted was to suck on it. Before his mind could catch up, he did exactly that. After realizing what he had done, Zhan froze, waiting for YiBo's reaction.
Yibo was struggling to control his urge to pin Zhan down on the couch and hover over him, when suddenly, he felt something warm and wet... Goosebumps ran all over his body, and he shivered. "Did Zhan just suck on my Adam's apple?"
"Zhaaaaan!" he warned, and the guilty Zhan closed his eyes, pouting. YiBo took a moment to calm down before starting to speak.
YiBo's Pov
Oh! Right, I forgot about Nia. We met in the US while I was studying, and she was visiting her relatives. Her grandmother's house was close to my grandmother's. We'd often run into each other and exchange greetings, and later, we became friends. Eventually, we discovered that our moms were best friends here in China. Slowly, we became best friends too and then… lovers." Zhan finished for him, still pouting.
"Er… not really," YiBo said with a smile, seeing the look on Zhan's face. "We liked each other, but maybe it wasn't love or anything romantic. We never crossed any limits because I was already married at the time. Even though I didn't love Lucy, I couldn't cheat on her."
"And now, do you still like her… Nia?" Zhan whispered.
"Yes, I still like her," YiBo replied.
Zhan's heart skipped a beat, and he felt a tightness in his chest. He was about to pull away from YiBo when he heard him continue.
"But not in a romantic way. I like her as a friend, more like a sister, I think. I do feel guilty for not telling her I was married, and I knew I would never marry her. If i told her that I wouldn't, eventually, I'll have to explain why. Once she knows, our families will find out, and I'm not ready for that yet."
"There's something I'm planning before then. I want to take you far away from my father before he finds out about us. But let's leave that for now and continue the story."
***
At first, I stayed in a small hotel because I didn't have any identification to use, and I figured Dad could track me down that way. But I had no other choice. Weeks passed like that, with me doing nothing but lying in my room. When I got bored, I'd go out for some fresh air or visit a bar or club at night just to get drunk.
One day, I went to a mini-mart to buy beer, and I overheard the guy working there talking on the phone. He mentioned that he was looking for a roommate because he had rented a two-bedroom house and was living alone. He added, "Who wouldn't want some extra cash?"
Back at the motel, I kept thinking about it. Eventually, I decided to take the room. This way, I wouldn't be living alone; I'd hear someone else around. Plus, the area was really poor, so I figured Dad would never think I'd hide out there.
That's how I ended up living with Ling for six months. We shared the house, and he told me how he worked as a driver. The man he worked for had given him some money to open a shop in his village, but Ling later decided to stay in Beijing and open it here instead. After a few days, I heard him complaining that his boss was struggling to find a reliable driver.
Without thinking, I blurted out that I could take the job. Ling looked at me in shock, almost laughing, and said I didn't look like someone used to hard work. I explained that I wasn't from Beijing, that I came from Fuzhou, where my father was wealthy, but when he found out I was gay, he kicked me out. That's why I ended up here. Ling felt sorry for me and said he'd talk to his boss, but he would tell him I was from his village. That way, his boss wouldn't ask too many questions and would hire me.
And that's how I started working as a driver at your house. The first day I saw you, I was completely stunned for a few minutes. You were so beautiful and handsome... your face, your killer smile, and that damn mole under your soft pink lips. I was literally drooling over you.
For the first couple of days, I couldn't stop dreaming about you. You were all I could think about, except when Yang was talking non-stop. Despite figuring out the type of person you were... a spoiled rich kid...I couldn't help myself. I'd stay by the gate, enduring Yang's chatter, just to catch a glimpse of you leaving or entering the house.
The one thing I could never understand was why you hated me so much when I hadn't done anything to you. I used to sit and wonder if I had unknowingly offended you in some way. Eventually, I realized it was just how some rich people are...they look down on the poor without reason.
Once I accepted that your hatred was simply because I was poor, I decided to stay out of your way and make peace with it. But that day when you grabbed my collar and pulled me close? I didn't sleep well that night. Just being that close to you...seeing your face, your lips, and that mole... and inhaling your scent... It was the first time I felt naturally aroused.
After some long, hard jacking off and a cold shower, I managed to calm down.
Ever since that moment, just smelling your scent would turn me on. That's when I started thinking maybe soulmates do exist, and maybe you are mine.
I knew I had already fallen in love with you, and maybe you were my soulmate. But I couldn't see any way you'd ever love me back. You hated me so much, and to make things worse, I saw how much you adored my cousin Leo. That made me lose hope completely.
Then, when your video leaked and your father asked me to marry you... How could I let that chance slip away? I loved you, I wanted you, and now here I was, getting you without even having to work for it. YiBo laughed as Zhan hit him again in the chest.
Zhan said, "Stop getting so excited, you haven't won me over yet." YiBo laughed again and replied, " "What's left? Where are already married, and no matter what, I will never divorce you. I'II just work on making you fall in love with me. I know you already like me.
Zhan got up, pouting and glaring at YiBo before heading upstairs. YiBo watched him go, smiling.
YiBo took the rest of the food to the kitchen, turned off the light, and went upstairs to the master bedroom. After taking a shower, he put on his pajamas and sat by the bed, picking up his phone. Seeing a call from Nia, he called her back. When she answered, he said, "Hello dear."
She replied, "You left without even saying goodbye, Dr.?"
He responded, "I told you I was in a hurry and people were waiting for me."
Softly, she said, "Oh, okay. How was the trip?"
"Good. Did Mom leave for home?"
"Yeah, a while ago."
"Alright, how are things?"
"I wanted to talk to you about the wedding outfit..."
"Okay, just discuss it with your family and friends, and then let me know."
"Alright, that's it?"
Surprised, she asked, "Are you eager to end the call?"
Quickly, he said, "No, I'm just tired and want to sleep early."
She fell silent, and he asked, "Hello?"
Softly, she replied, "Okay, good night."
He added, "I hope you're not taking this personally?"
With tears filling her eyes, she said, "When was the last time we talked on the phone? If I don't call, you don't call me, and now that I called, you're telling me you want to sleep. Fine, go to sleep. It's not a big deal."
YiBo sighed deeply and said, "I'm sorry, Nia. So, what's new?"
She replied, "No, just go to sleep. We'll talk tomorrow."
He said, "I'll sacrifice my sleep for you."
She remained quiet, and YiBo knew she was crying. Gently, he said, "Nia?"
She didn't respond. Lowering his voice, he said, "You're crying again? Are you going to cry like this on the day of our wedding if it gets called off?"
Nia suddenly hung up, and YiBo's eyes widened. He tried calling her back several times, but she didn't answer. Frustrated, he put down his phone, only for it to ring again. This time it was Aunty Bella. His heart sank... he'd been avoiding her calls for almost three days because he knew why she was calling.
He stared at the phone until it almost stopped ringing, but he finally gathered the courage to pick up. "Hello, Aunty," he said cautiously.
From the other end, Aunty Bella said, "Have you started drinking? Why are you ignoring my calls, I Bo? Whose calls are you avoiding?"
Hurriedly, he replied, "No, Aunty, it's not like that. I just haven't been myself these past few days. I'm sorry."
Aunty Bella asked, "Where's Zhan now? Lily told me he went back to his family's home. How did that happen, I Bo? And did his parents accept him?"
He explained, "Mom told him to go Nia's Mom house because of Aunty Yu, and the same day he left town. It means he didn't want to stay."
Aunty Bella, surprised, said, "Oh, Lily didn't tell me that. She only said he was missing, and later they found out he had gone to his parents' house."
YiBo stayed silent.
Aunty Bella continued, "Sister didn't do the right thing. So, because of Yu, she refused to keep him? Why did she do that? I'm not happy to hear this. Are you sure he went back to his parents, I Bo? He didn't go anywhere else?"
YiBo replied, "Yes, Aunty, I went to their house myself. I just got back today."
Aunty Bella said, "Then what happened to the phone I gave him? No one can reach him, and Ryan is tired of calling him."
YiBo explained, "I think the charging port is broken."
Aunty Bella instructed, "You have his mom's number. Send it to me now."
YiBo replied, "Oh, okay. But I have that number on a different phone. I'll send it once I switch phones."
Aunty Bella said, "I want it today. Don't keep me waiting."
"Okay," YiBo said quietly.
"And lastly, Lily told me you packed your documents and CV from your dad's room, and she said she would return them. My advice to you is: don't let her take anything, no matter what happens. I don't understand what's wrong with Sister. Don't make the mistake of giving her those papers. I don't care what you have to do, but if you have to leave town, then leave. How can she not stand up for your rights and expect you to give them back? What kind of life is that?"
YiBo softly replied, "I don't know what to do, Aunty. She's taking the issue very personally."
Aunty Bella advised, "If it comes to it, just come here and stay with me. With your qualifications, you'll find a good job here. Don't bother with Sister's issues."
YiBo smiled and said, "Thank you, Aunty."
She said, "I'm just telling you what's best for you. I'll be waiting for Zhan's mom's number."
"Okay, Aunty."
With that, she ended the call. YiBo sighed and put his phone down, deep in thought. After a few minutes, he got up and left the room, heading to the one where Zhan was staying. He opened the door slowly.
Zhan was sitting on the bed, wearing a towel, and applying oil after his shower. YiBo stood by the mirror, folding his arms, watching Zhan's scent fill the room. After a few seconds, Zhan looked up and said, "I need space."
YiBo didn't say anything or leave the room. Seeing this, Zhan stood up, grabbed his sleepwear, and headed for the bathroom. YiBo quickly grabbed his arm.
Zhan's eyes widened. "Let go of me so I can change. What are you doing?"
YiBo reached for Zhan's towel. Zhan held it tightly, his eyes wide with panic, on the verge of tears. "What are you doing? This isn't right, please."
YiBo whispered something in his ear, then looked at his face to gauge his reaction. Zhan's heart raced, but he avoided eye contact. YiBo's boldness shocked him.
YiBo's voice was barely a whisper when he said, "Agreed?" Still, Zhan didn't look at him, much less respond. YiBo moved closer, and Zhan panicked. YiBo reached for his towel again. Zhan quickly grabbed his hand, his voice trembling. "Why are you doing this? Please."
"I'm not that kind of person," Zhan said.
YiBo whispered, "Am I that kind of person?"
Zhan remained silent, his heart pounding in his chest. Deep down, though, he felt it would be easier to agree to YiBo's demands. Zhan didn't stop YiBo from removing the towel, but before he could pull it off, Zhan buried his face in YiBo's chest, trembling. "It's too bright," he whispered.
The way Zhan spoke only fueled YiBo's desire. Holding Zhan, he walked toward the light switch, his legs heavy with anticipation, and turned off the lights. From the moment Zhan was initially resisting, he eventually found himself surrendering completely, almost as if it wasn't him at all. YiBo made sure Zhan savored every second of that moment, allowing him to momentarily forget the world he was in. After nearly fifteen minutes, Zhan suddenly became aware of himself again when he felt YiBo trying to insert a finger.
Zhan's eyes widened in shock as he pushed him away, saying, "I told you not to do that! Oh my... I'm in trouble! You promised you wouldn't..." In a shaky voice, YiBo pleaded, "Please." Zhan broke down in tears and said, "Nooo, I can't! You're too big, I'll die if you do it."
YiBo had no choice but to respect Zhan's limits. With remarkable restraint, he turned and lay on his stomach at the edge of the bed. Even then, Zhan was still trembling. He quickly grabbed his towel, wrapped it around himself, and moved to the edge of the bed, trembling as he watched YiBo. When YiBo got up, Zhan was startled, scooting to the very edge of the bed in fear.
He watched YiBo walk toward the bathroom in the dim light, following his movements with his eyes. YiBo stayed in there for almost twenty minutes before coming back and lying on the floor. Zhan kept watching him in the darkness, unable to sleep despite his exhaustion. Close to midnight, Zhan still lay awake, listening to the sound of YiBo tossing and turning on the floor.
Finally, Zhan sat up and looked at him, then slowly got down from the bed and knelt nearby, though he couldn't see YiBo clearly due to the darkness. "Are you okay?" he asked.
After a brief silence, he heard YiBo quietly respond, "I am not." Zhan didn't even realize when he moved closer and knelt right beside him. "Are you sick?" he asked, his concern clear in his voice.
YiBo pulled Zhan into his arms with a trembling voice, saying, "I promise I won't hurt you, I promise, I promise."
Zhan felt his heart race with sudden anxiety and tried to pull away, but YiBo held him tightly, breathing heavily. "Please, I promise it won't hurt. Trust me, Zhan." Before Zhan could say anything, YiBo removed his towel and tossed it aside...

Lily couldn't sleep after hearing the sound of two military operation vehicles leaving the Palace around 2 AM, especially with the General still in the house. She felt uneasy and tried calling YiBo more than ten times, but he didn't pick up. She knew he wasn't a heavy sleeper and would normally answer no matter the hour, so she started to wonder if he was avoiding her calls because of the documents she had mentioned earlier. All she wanted was to know where he was. In the end, she called Aunty Bella.
When Aunty Bella answered, she said, "Bella, I just heard the military vehicles leaving the house, and now I can't calm down. You know how cunning the General can be. I've been trying to call Ai Bo, but he's not picking up. Could you call him and find out where he is? He told me he wasn't at his place, but please, try calling him."
Aunty Bella replied, "Okay, let me try calling him."
Not long after, Aunty Bella called Lily back and said, "Sister, he's still not answering."
Lily felt even more anxious and quietly responded, "Alright, Bella."
Aunty Bella reassured her, "Don't worry, sister, nothing bad will happen. Besides, the General doesn't even know where I Bo is."
Lily sighed and said, "Okay, we'll talk later." She ended the call and put her phone down, silently praying for her son's safety from his father...
