Chapter 3 - [ Start Of Something Good ]

Brandon reveled in the crisp morning air, the freshness invigorating every fiber of his being.

"Ahhh~"

He inhaled deeply, the scents of freshly cut grass and blooming flowers filling his lungs, invigorating his senses. The sun rose gradually over the horizon, casting the sky in vibrant hues of pink and gold.

"Well, ain't this something," he murmured, leaning against the ornate railing.

Below, a meticulously manicured garden sprawled out before him. Hedges formed intricate patterns, punctuated by bursts of colorful flowers. Fountains gurgled softly, their waters catching the early light.

But it wasn't just the flora that caught his eye.

Several women in crisp maid uniforms moved through the garden, tending to the greenery with practiced ease.

"Damn, even the maids looks like they stepped out of a fashion magazine," Brandon mused, unable to suppress a smirk.

One of the maids glanced up, catching sight of him on the balcony.

She waved, a bright smile on her face. Then another noticed, and soon half a dozen were offering cheery greetings.

"Morning, ladies!" Brandon called out, returning their waves with enthusiasm.

As they returned to their tasks, giggling amongst themselves, Brandon couldn't help but chuckle.

As Brandon's gaze wandered from the garden, it landed on something that made his heart skip a beat. Near the balcony entrance lay a sleek guitar, its polished surface gleaming in the morning light.

A grin spread across his face.

"Well, hello there, beautiful."

He approached the guitar, fingers gliding over its smooth wood, feeling an instant connection—as though reuniting with an old friend.

Without a second thought, he scooped it up and returned to the balcony.

In one fluid motion, Brandon hopped onto the marble balustrade, settling himself with the guitar across his lap. His legs dangled over the edge, feet swinging freely in the air.

A shrill shriek pierced the morning calm.

"Young Master! Please, be careful!"

One of the gardening maids had spotted him, her face a mask of panic.

Brandon chuckled, waving dismissively at her concern.

"Relax, darlin'. I've got this."

Brandon's heart raced as he positioned his fingers on the fretboard. A mix of excitement and nervousness coursed through him.

"Here goes nothing," he thought, taking a deep breath.

His voice, rich and smooth, resonated through the morning air:

"You never know when you're gonna meet someone

And your whole wide world in a moment comes undone"

The maids below froze, captivated by the unexpected performance.

Brandon's silver hair gleamed in the sunrise, his chiseled features accentuated by the golden light.

As he continued, his confidence grew. The lyrics resonated with his new situation:

"This might end up like it should

And I'm gonna say what I need to say"

His voice soared, carrying emotion and power. The garden seemed to come alive, hanging on every note.

"Don't wanna be misunderstood

But I'm starting to believe that this could be the start of something good..."

The maids exchanged awestruck glances, some even wiping tears from their eyes. Brandon's presence on the balcony was magnetic, his voice a siren call in the morning stillness.

He paused, savoring the moment.

Then, with renewed vigor:

"Everyone knows life has its ups and downs

One day you're on top of the world and one day you're the clown"

A wry smile played on his lips as he sang, thinking of his past life and current circumstances.

"Well I've been both enough to know

That you don't wanna get in the way when it's working out

The way that it is right now"

Brandon's voice carried across the garden, his eyes closed as he poured his heart into the lyrics.

The scent of jasmine wafted up from below, mingling with the crisp morning air, creating a sensory backdrop to his performance.

"Cause I don't know where it's going

There's a part of me that loves not knowing

Just don't let it end before we begin"

The maids below stood transfixed, their tasks forgotten as they gazed up at the silver-haired young man on the balcony.

One of the younger maids, her cheeks flushed, discreetly pulled out her phone and hit record.

She wasn't the only one; several others already had their devices out, capturing the impromptu performance.

Brandon's fingers danced across the guitar strings, his body swaying gently with the rhythm. The morning sunlight caught his chiseled features, casting him in an almost ethereal glow.

"Yeah, the start of something good

Yeah, the start of something good

Yeah this could be the start of something good~"

As the final notes faded away, Brandon opened his eyes, a satisfied smile spreading across his face.

A heartbeat of silence followed.

Then, like a dam bursting, applause erupted from below.

*Clap! Clap! Clap! *

The maids clapped enthusiastically, some even whistling and cheering.

"Wooo~~!"

"THAT WAS AMAZING!*

"I-I think … I'm in love!"

"Ahh~ Marry me Young Master!"

Their faces were alight with admiration, hearts fluttering out their eyes, a few wiping away tears that had formed during the heartfelt performance.

Brandon basked in the afterglow of his performance, heart racing from the thrill. The maids' adoration washed over him like a warm breeze.

He closed his eyes, savoring the moment.

Suddenly, an excited scream erupted behind him.

"AHHHHH!"

The shock nearly sent Brandon tumbling off the balcony. His body teetered precariously on the ledge, guitar clutched tightly to his chest. For a heart-stopping moment, he teetered between safety and a long fall.

With a grunt, he regained his balance, feet finding purchase on the smooth marble.

"OMG OMG OMG B, that was incredible!"

Bailey exclaimed, bursting through the balcony doors with her silver hair flying in her wake. Her eyes sparkled with a mixture of awe and mischief, a look Brandon was beginning to recognize as uniquely hers.

Before Brandon could fully right himself, she slammed into his back, wrapping her arms around him in a fierce hug.

"Whoa there, sis!" Brandon chuckled, steadying himself against her enthusiasm.

As Bailey squeezed him tighter, Brandon suddenly became aware of her body pressed against his, warmth radiating from her. Her ample chest pushed into his back, soft and warm. A jolt of electricity surged through him.

'Mhmmm, that feels nice,' he thought, momentarily losing himself in the sensation.

Then reality crashed in.

'Wait, what the hell? That's my sister now! My twin! Snap out of it, Brandon!'

He shook his head, trying to clear the inappropriate thoughts.
