The White Wolf girl knelt on one knee, her expression full of devotion.
It was as if Fujino was the only god in her eyes.
Canine creatures are always loyal to their masters, often treating them as divine beings.
Now, the White Wolf, much like a tamed canine, saw Fujino as her only master.
Fujino studied the peculiar White Wolf girl in front of him, remaining silent for a moment.
Unable to resist, he reached out and ruffled her head.
Her fur was soft, fluffy, and well-maintained, making him wonder if it had been taken care of meticulously.
There was a faint warmth from her body, typical of creatures that live in cold environments.
The "furry fan" in him rejoiced.
"Woof…"
The White Wolf's ears drooped slightly, and her tail swayed naturally behind her.
"Ahem."
Fujino cleared his throat awkwardly, insisting that he was *definitely* not a "furry fan."
Retracting his hand, he curiously looked at the White Wolf's fuzzy ears and asked, "So, is this your only form?"
He was genuinely curious.
Not that this form was bad—it was actually quite cute—but it did feel a bit strange.
Something he couldn't quite put his finger on.
The White Wolf looked up at him, her expression serious but a little hurt. "Master, do you not like how I look now?"
"It's not that I dislike it," Fujino scratched his chin, "It just feels... odd."
"If you don't like my current appearance, I can take on a form similar to yours," the White Wolf said softly.
"You can transform into a human?" Fujino was stunned, caught off guard.
Well, that was just a casual question, but could she really do that?
The White Wolf nodded. "I can..."
Before Fujino could fully process it, a mist enveloped the White Wolf, and in just a moment, the fluffy White Wolf girl had transformed into a proud, noble-looking lady with an elegant demeanor. If it weren't for the beast ears and tail, Fujino might not have recognized that this was still the White Wolf.
However, upon taking a closer look, Fujino furrowed his brows.
A White Wolf in a shrine maiden outfit, with beast ears perched on her head, kneeling with the grace of a Yamato Nadeshiko…
The contrast!
The intense contrast was jarring!
It felt even stranger now.
Taking a deep breath, Fujino spoke, "Your tail and ears..."
"Please forgive me, Master," the White Wolf immediately apologized, bowing her head. "I cannot fully hide my tail and ears."
"You don't need to react so strongly… I'm not upset," Fujino said, a bit bewildered by her exaggerated response. "Your ears and tail are actually quite cute."
"Whimper..."
The White Wolf let out a small sound of relief, visibly relaxing.
Fujino: "..."
Was she embarrassed now?
This was getting stranger by the minute.
...
After what felt like the time it takes to smoke a cigarette, Fujino finally understood the White Wolf's situation.
The White Wolf girl was indeed the same as the previous White Wolf.
She had inherited all the functions of the White Wolf cigarette and had materialized as a physical being.
She was extremely loyal and would never betray him.
Any command Fujino gave, the White Wolf would strictly follow.
To a certain extent, she could even act as a bodyguard for him.
The only downside? She could only exist for the duration of one cigarette.
A cigarette's length was about ten minutes.
Once the White Wolf cigarette was used up, it would take 2 million yen to recharge it.
However, since Fujino was a student, he only needed 1.8 million yen.
But still, that was around 350,000 yen per use.
It was expensive, sure.
But worth it…
After all, who wouldn't want a loyal, fluffy White Wolf girl who could transform into a Yamato Nadeshiko with beast ears?
...
Putting the White Wolf cigarette away, Fujino turned his attention to other items he had just acquired:
**[Death Note Pen: Developed by a bald genius scientist named Da Vinci, a special agent tool]**
Form: An ordinary black pen
Effect: Pressing the trigger button causes the user's muscles to stiffen, rendering them immobile. Pressing it again neutralizes the poison. Pressing the button further enhances the poison, completely paralyzing the target. The pen cap can shoot out a truth serum needle.
Note: Instructions provided with the pen.
Friendly Reminder: Don't accidentally press the button on yourself! And definitely don't press the poison enhancement button!
**[Chewing Gum Bomb: Developed by the same bald genius scientist Da Vinci, this gum explodes]**
Form: Watermelon-flavored gum in a green box
Effect: Chewing it allows for remote detonation. The explosion is small but effective for breaking windows and doors. While it won't kill, it'll certainly feel deadly.
Friendly Reminder: Don't press the detonator while chewing!
**[Top-Class All-Purpose Enhancement Card: Surpass your limits for 20 minutes]**
Effect: Grants the user a 400% increase in all abilities for 20 minutes.
**[Makeup Kit: A must-have for girls who travel or stay at home]**
Form: A black makeup kit containing various disguises
Effect: Allows the user to disguise themselves in any way they choose
Note: Requires advanced makeup skills to use effectively
Friendly Reminder: Don't use this kit for weird things!
**[Lucky Coin: A coin that brings luck]**
Form: A silver coin with about 100 years of history
Effect: Grants the user a temporary luck boost. After use, the coin has a cooldown period during which it cannot be reused.
Note: Lucky boys fear nothing!
Friendly Reminder: The coin's effect does not apply to the system.
Among these items, the one that caught Fujino's attention the most was the Top-Class All-Purpose Enhancement Card.
If the system's description was correct, this was essentially a trump card for survival or going all out.
With his current strength, using it would grant him temporary top-tier power. He might even be able to go toe-to-toe with characters like Kogoro Mouri, who stood at the peak of the Conan universe's power levels.
As for ordinary criminals, this card would be complete overkill.
Using it on them would be pointless.
The downside of such immense power, though, was the risk of losing control.
A single punch from his boosted strength might kill someone, or he could snap a lamppost in half without meaning to…
As for the other gadgets, they were just quirky, useful tools.
The Death Note Pen's name and inventor were too ridiculous to comment on, but the truth serum functionality was quite practical.
If he encountered a stubborn criminal, he could stealthily inject them with the serum, and they would confess everything on the spot.
The explosive chewing gum, on the other hand, felt a bit redundant. Breaking down doors and windows was something he could already do with one punch, making the gum feel like an unnecessary extra step…
But the idea of sticking it to someone's neck and detonating it… now *that* was intriguing.
The makeup kit was another nifty item.
Unfortunately, Fujino didn't have any makeup skills, so it would be of no use for now.
