Chereads / i am just a student? in Conan world / Chapter 176 - **Chapter 173: The Ubiquitous Little Grim Reaper**

Chapter 176 - **Chapter 173: The Ubiquitous Little Grim Reaper**

Before long, it was Saturday, August 10th.

Early in the morning, Fujino drove Haibara Ai and Miyano Akemi to Izu.

Izu isn't too far from Tokyo, so by late morning, they had already arrived at the grand hotel listed on their voucher.

In the hotel's parking lot:

"This is the Queen Hotel, huh?" Miyano Akemi, dressed in blue jeans and a white T-shirt, glanced at the building in front of her and couldn't help but comment, "The surroundings are really nice, and the air is so fresh."

"I looked it up," Haibara Ai, wearing a light blue T-shirt and white shorts, added casually. "Staying here costs nearly 10,000 yen per night."

Fujino, also dressed in casual clothes for once—black pants and the same white T-shirt as Miyano Akemi—picked up a travel bag from the trunk and smiled, "Thanks to Akemi, this vacation is saving us a lot of money."

"Hehe, it's no big deal," Akemi laughed, grabbing a couple of bags from Fujino. "You work so hard all the time, Fujino-kun. You should take this chance to relax."

Haibara Ai gave a nod of agreement.

"Alright…" Fujino handed over the luggage without further argument.

The group then made their way into the hotel.

"Wow, this really is a luxury hotel!" Fujino exclaimed as soon as they stepped inside.

He immediately heard a familiar voice. Looking up, he spotted a man not far away, wearing a pink suit shirt, blue shorts, and exposing his hairy legs.

It was Kogoro Mouri!

"If Uncle Mouri is here, then…"

Fujino scanned the area.

As expected, he saw two more familiar figures: Ran, wearing an orange casual dress, looking around, and Conan, hands behind his head, dressed in red shorts and a green shirt.

"Seriously… Even on vacation, I can't escape running into these three," Fujino sighed softly. "Hopefully, no murder cases happen today…"

Ran, who had been looking around, soon spotted Fujino and fixed her gaze on him.

Conan followed her line of sight and, in an instant, recognized the familiar figure.

It was Fujino!

Recalling Ran's strange behavior over the past few days, her cryptic remarks about meeting a friend, Conan suddenly felt a chill down his spine.

Damn it!

Could the person Ran came to secretly meet be none other than this guy, Fujino?!

Struggling to suppress the feeling that a green glow was appearing above his head, Conan forced a pained smile, as if it would be less painful to be killed, and jogged over to greet Fujino, "Hey, Fujino-san!"

"What are you doing here, kid?"

Fujino bent down, looked at Conan's face, and sighed.

How is it possible to run into this kid everywhere?

The little grim reaper is truly everywhere.

"Fujino-senpai!" Ran walked over to greet him, looking a bit surprised. "Are you here on vacation too?"

"Yeah," Fujino stood up and looked at Ran. "Are you guys here for vacation as well?"

Conan frowned at this. Judging by their surprised reactions, it seemed he had misunderstood Fujino…

But if Fujino wasn't the person Ran had arranged to meet, then who was it?

Conan fell into deep thought, racking his brain but still unable to figure out what was going on.

After some small talk, the two groups headed to the front desk to check in.

"Two rooms, right?" the receptionist asked, holding two silver room key cards and looking at Ran for confirmation.

"That's right," Ran said, taking the key cards and smiling mischievously, as if planning something secretive.

"What's the big deal?" Kogoro Mouri grumbled. "Wouldn't it be more convenient if we just got one room with three beds?"

"If we did that, it might interfere with…"

---

While talking, Ran suddenly remembered something and quickly changed her words: "It's nothing, I was just talking to myself. Let's hurry up and change into our swimsuits and head to the beach!"

Afterward, she walked toward the room indicated on the key card.

Fujino glanced at the departing Mouri family group, then slowly walked toward the front desk. He pulled out the complimentary voucher given to him by Akemi Miyano and handed it to the receptionist. "This is our complimentary voucher. It should be valid, right?"

"Complimentary voucher?"

The receptionist took the voucher and examined it for a moment.

Then, he crouched down and began searching through the counter drawers.

After a while, he found several gold cards. Pulling out three of them, he stood up with a professional smile and handed them to Fujino. "Here are your room keys."

"Gold cards?"

Fujino looked at the key cards, somewhat puzzled. He recalled that Ran had received silver cards earlier.

"That's right."

The receptionist smiled and nodded. "Your vouchers are VIP vouchers, so your room is a suite on the top floor. If you need anything, please call the front desk. Queen's Hotel will provide the best service for our esteemed guests."

...

In the suite on the top floor of Queen's Hotel in Izu.

Fujino opened the door and looked around the luxurious and spacious suite, which even had a large TV hanging on the wall. He couldn't help but remark, "As expected of a luxury suite."

The price of a regular suite was around 10,000 yen.

He had checked the price of a luxury suite before—it was about 50,000 yen per day.

Three days and two nights would cost around 150,000 yen per person.

For three people, that's 450,000 yen.

This time, they really hit the jackpot.

Speaking of which, Akemi Miyano had quite the lucky streak—she casually entered a raffle and managed to win three first-prize VIP vouchers.

Apparently, Haibara Ai wasn't bad either. He remembered she also won a black dress from the raffle.

"Someday, I've got to see if Ai's black dress is really as cute as Akemi Miyano said."

Returning to his thoughts, Fujino slowly walked over to the large bed in the suite.

He casually placed his travel bag on the bed and unzipped it.

Inside were some personal items. Besides those, there was an Okamoto 0.01 (wooden sword).

Fujino drew the curtains, took off his clothes, and pulled out a large black pair of trunks.

They were swim trunks.

"My muscles are pretty exaggerated..."

After changing into the swim trunks, Fujino walked over to the full-length mirror.

The reflection showed a bold and striking figure, with his bare skin covered in muscles.

Thanks to the system's enhancements, his muscles had now adapted to his current strength.

With strength comes a transformed body. As his power grew, his physique naturally evolved as well.

Unknowingly, he had become quite the muscular hunk.

The muscles weren't overly exaggerated to the point of hindering movement, but they were undeniably solid.

The firm muscles stood out, highlighted by his fair skin, giving them a well-defined appearance. Anyone who saw his physique would probably exclaim, "Whoa, what a beast!"

"I should probably tone it down a bit."

Fujino rummaged through his bag and pulled out a shirt, throwing it over his shoulders before stepping out of the room.
