Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: The family Competition

Sara gathered all the spiritual stones from the mine, leaving Raed stunned. Extracting these stones would normally require many workers over the years, but Sara used her fighting spirit and the Ice Sword to collect them in a short time.

"Alright, there are about 5 million mid-level spiritual crystals. This is a fortune for this barren land. It seems the family will be in danger."

Raed's face darkened, but he quickly composed himself. As long as he grew stronger, no one would be able to threaten his mother's and grandfather's family.

Sara and Raed returned to where Yamir was sleeping. No monsters dared to approach him, likely due to the pressure from the Imperial Giant's blood.

"Damn it, how will I carry this big guy?"

"Don't worry, leave that to me," Sara said. She then took out the heavy red fire sword, enlarged it further, and flew forward with Raed.

"What about your changed eyes? They will definitely attract attention."

"It doesn't matter. If anyone dares to be curious and approaches me, I'll just kill them," Sara said with a deadly tone.

Raed was shocked and felt a chill down his spine. When did this girl become so deadly? But it didn't matter; he was less worried about her now. He reached out and patted her small head, which made her smile as she enjoyed the touch.

As the family arrived, someone was waiting for them—his third uncle.

"Children, where have you been? The clan competition is about to start. And who is this huge child?"

"Haha, he's my new brother, named Yamir. He's incredibly strong. But the clan competition started earlier than expected. Isn't it supposed to be every four years? There's still a year left. Did something happen?"

Raed was puzzled by the early start of the clan competition.

"Well, it was moved up because next year there will be tests for joining the sects. The disciples of the sects are completely different from those in the secular world; they can crush others at the same level like ants."

"Also, there might be a war approaching the family, but don't worry about that. Just focus on working hard. You're still very weak. ...Sara, what's up with your eyes?"

The third elder explained and then noticed Sara's beautiful but unusual eyes, asking with concern.

Sara smiled and said, "Don't worry, Uncle. It's just a talent that has awakened."

"Alright, as long as you're fine. Now, everyone, go to the gathering area. But your brother won't participate since he's not part of the family. Those are the rules."

Raed woke Yamir and asked him to protect Sara. Yamir extended his hand and carried Sara on his shoulder, making her smile. They then walked to the spectator seats, but everyone moved away from their spot out of fear.

Raed went to the gathering, where around 500 people from the Najar family were present. He looked around, assessing everyone's strength.

Everyone was at the Refining Qi stage, with five individuals standing out: four boys and a girl. All of them were at the Half-Step Blood Refining Realm, and each had a strong aura.

One of them was Rami Najar, the eldest son of the second elder, who had the strongest aura. Last year, he trained in the Demon Forest and gained significant strength after encountering a Sword Sect elder. He carried a sword on his back and exuded confidence.

The second was Zahra Najar, the daughter of the fourth elder. She was very mysterious, with almost nothing known about her except her name. However, Raed felt a dangerous aura from her. She was a beautiful girl with sparkling, hopeful eyes, wearing a blue robe and carrying a spear, which was quite unusual for a woman.

The third was Aziz Najar, the son of the first elder. His aura was not less than the first two, but he had an arrogant demeanor and looked down on everyone. He also carried a sword on his back.

The fourth was a bit weaker and named Fahmi Najar, the son of the fifth elder. He had a sinister look in his eyes, just like his father. He used poison in combat and was very dangerous despite his relative weakness compared to the others.

The fifth and final was quite a surprise, as he was not the child of any elder but from an ordinary family within the clan. His name was Malik Najar. He was a large person with a kind face and gentle eyes, with visible work scars on his hands, indicating his hard work.

"Now I will explain the rules of the competition."
