"Director, this is all the information currently compiled by All Might." Commander Hill handed the information file to Nick Fury.
"I've asked Coulson to go to Times Square and try to get in touch with the situation."
After Xu Mo and others left Asgard, Coulson was teleported back by the Rainbow Bridge, just like Jane.
Nick Fury took the file, frowning as he reviewed it. "Is this all there is? The authenticity is completely unacceptable."
The information came from comics, drawn by Xu Mo himself. If there are discrepancies, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s data might be flawed.
Nick Fury firmly believed that these comics were just one interpretation. While the abilities might be similar, there were bound to be differences. For instance, this All Might was depicted as a weak and sickly figure.
How could Xu Mo expose such a simple weakness?
Nick Fury looked at the display with a solemn expression. "If All Might is a hero with the sense of justice described in the comics, we should do our best to support him."
However, he added, "But I don't think it's that simple. The current status of heroes is a bit unstable."
Some Congress members had been forced to abandon the mutant registration bill and were now working on the superhero registration bill instead.
Of course, in the current climate, no one would support such a bill. They must be waiting for the right moment.
Nick Fury didn't try to dissuade them. While there are pros and cons to such a bill, similar to the officialization of heroes in the comics, he found it intriguing.
Perhaps he could even be a leader in this new order.
But the world has a different backdrop. This world is still dominated by ordinary people. There are no superheroes who destroy cities or have personalities that defy logic.
Without enough external threats, internal strife is inevitable.
Nick Fury shook his head, acknowledging that it was too early to dwell on such matters. He had only skilled agents and the technical consultant Iron Man at his disposal.
Although Dr. Bruce Banner, the Hulk, was nearly defeated by a punch, his strength was undeniable. Natasha had been sent to communicate with him.
. . . . . . . . .
In Times Square, New York, the electric lights flickered, and Max, the Electro, transformed into electrons, fleeing toward All Might.
This ability was highly penetrative; the high-voltage current could burst inside and damage internal organs.
All Might raised an eyebrow, his face unreadable. This elemental opponent was somewhat tricky, but he wasn't afraid.
He moved swiftly to one side, waiting for the electric form to solidify. It was impossible to remain in an electronic state forever, or it would eventually dissipate into unconscious electrons.
Experience told All Might that this would happen, just as he expected.
After the electric lights passed, they reformed into a human shape. Max's fast-moving hands struck out with two lightning bolts, like whips, aimed at All Might.
But before Max could swing, All Might unleashed a powerful straight punch. A ring of air exploded, propelling him forward.
"New Hampshire Smash!"
All Might's body bent backward, then struck forward with incredible speed, hitting Max with devastating force.
Bang!
A muffled thunderclap echoed as All Might's punch crashed into the street, creating a deep crater and causing dense cobweb-like cracks.
"Cough, cough."
"Cough, cough."
Max lay in the center of the crater, coughing up blue-red blood. His face was contorted in agony, making others shudder.
"Calm down, don't blame others. You have the power to help," All Might said, jumping out of the crater and addressing Max.
"As long as you listen to your heart, you can still become a hero."
Seeing potential for redemption, All Might hoped to save him. As the top hero in the comics world, All Might's unparalleled charm often turned criminals back to the right path.
However, this was the Marvel Universe, where good people could turn bad. Many once-good individuals had become corrupted, and only a few managed to stay true.
Max, who had always been honest, was now disgruntled with fate's design. He ignored All Might's advice, feeling that he was strong enough to defeat him.
Confident with his massive electric power, Max charged into the air, shouting, "A hero is a ridiculous person."
Hearing this, All Might clenched his fists, his expression growing colder as he watched Max hover above him.
"It seems you can't turn back, so you'll face prison and reflect."
With those words, All Might burst forward like a cannonball, leaving a small crater behind him, crossing his arms.
"How stupid. He jumped up to hit me; I can fly," Max sneered, attempting to move away in mid-air.
But in the next instant, a massive hole was torn into Max's side by All Might's tremendous force, causing blood to spurt out.
"Carolina Smash!"
In a flash, All Might executed a cross-cut, forming an air slash wave that struck Max.
Max fell like a wounded bird, trying to regroup electronically. But All Might was already there, having just landed.
"Finished."
All Might concentrated his power into his palm, forming a hand knife with lightning speed.
"Missouri Smash!"
The air was sliced apart as All Might's hand struck Max directly.
Boom!
Blood erupted from Max's mouth as the force of the strike split his mouth open. He was thrown into a fire hydrant, the burst of water causing further injury.
Max, unable to escape electronically, lay weakly on the ground, slipping into a severe coma.
"How is this possible?"
That was his final thought, mirroring the confusion of the onlookers, including SHIELD.
Initially, Max had seemed invincible, like Kamui. Spider-Man had fled in fear when facing him.
But All Might's appearance had made the situation look effortless, as if it were all under control.
Was it really as simple and decisive as it seemed?
