Chapter 71 - Chapter 69 - The Arrival of Deadpool

"I am Poisonous Night!!!"

With a thunderous roar, the colossal figure of Venom—now towering like a monstrous giant—unleashed a powerful shockwave that sent dust and debris swirling through the air. His immense, pitch-black form, with its fluid-like tendrils and grotesque, curling tongue, was a sight to behold. Venom's entire body swelled and expanded, taking on the terrifying appearance of a living mountain.

Kaneki Ken, facing this towering nightmare, was overwhelmed by the sheer size and power of his opponent. The size of Venom's hands was particularly daunting. Each palm was large enough to envelop Kaneki completely, suggesting that a single grip could crush him effortlessly.

Venom's eyes, which had been injured earlier, had now healed completely, and his rows of fangs gleamed menacingly. The sight of those massive, sharp teeth only reinforced the danger Kaneki faced. A single bite could easily tear apart not just an arm, but potentially half of his body.

"Boy, I want to thank you," Venom's voice had changed, no longer human but a deep, guttural tone. "It is because of your power that Thompson felt terrified. I will control this power completely."

Kaneki Ken's eyes narrowed in realization. Venom was a symbiotic entity that thrived on fear and strength, and it was using its host's panic to grow stronger. The transformation from a mere monster to a towering behemoth was a result of its symbiotic bond.

Despite the danger, Kaneki knew he had to act quickly. The battle was far from over, and Venom's growth indicated a heightened threat level. He was about to confront the monster when Peter Parker, despite still nursing his injuries, staggered over.

"Let me help you!" Peter called out, but Kaneki Ken immediately objected.

"Don't come near. You don't even have your battle suit," Kaneki Ken replied, focusing intently on Venom.

Peter looked down at his tattered clothing, the remnants of his Spider-Man suit now useless. Without his web-shooters, his combat effectiveness was severely diminished. He felt helpless, his previous strength stripped away.

Venom, noticing Peter's plight, sneered. "Peter, you're useless if you abandon me."

Just then, a new, unexpected voice cut through the chaos. It was light and mocking, filled with a strange sense of humor.

"Abandoned? I've abandoned too. Why don't you come back to find your mommy, baby?"

Venom, enraged by the interruption, turned his monstrous form towards the source of the voice. Perched casually on the top stairs, seemingly unfazed by the chaos, was a figure in a red and black suit. The individual wore two samurai swords on his back and had pistols strapped to his legs. His entire demeanor was nonchalant and almost comical.

"Spider-Man? No, who are you?!" Venom growled, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.

The figure stretched dramatically and grinned. "Me? Just a mercenary asking for money. Hey, fat little spider, you hired me to chop off this big guy?"

Peter was momentarily taken aback. The appearance of this new character was unsettling, but desperate times called for desperate measures.

"How much?" Peter asked, trying to remain hopeful despite the dire situation.

The mercenary, with a twisted sense of humor, responded with a smirk. "For the strongest mercenary in the universe, Deadpool, it's only a million bucks! I'll get to hacking."

Despite the ridiculousness of the offer, Peter and Kaneki were in no position to argue. Kaneki's focus remained on Venom, aware that any help was better than none.

As Deadpool prepared for battle, Venom's irritation grew. "Go to hell!!" he roared, swinging one of his massive claws with deadly force. The wind from the swing created a deafening noise, and the air was sliced apart by the sheer power of the attack.

The ground shook as Venom's claw slammed into the area where Deadpool had been standing. The impact caused the church's bell tower to crumble, sending rubble and dust cascading down.

Kaneki and Peter scrambled to avoid the debris, but Venom's fury showed no signs of abating. The building continued to collapse, light pouring through the gaping holes as Venom's rage destroyed everything in its path.

In the midst of the chaos, Venom paused, seemingly satisfied with his destruction. "What crap mercenary turned into a pile of mud," he taunted, his voice dripping with derision.

To everyone's shock, Deadpool emerged from the wreckage, his body surprisingly intact. Despite the massive force that had flattened him, he began to regenerate rapidly. Broken bones and twisted limbs mended before their eyes, and Deadpool's body returned to its original shape.

"Wow, how heavy are you? Your claws smashed me flat. If my Vanessa knew, she'd definitely be upset," Deadpool quipped, his voice as irreverent as ever.

With renewed energy, Deadpool leaped into action. "Baby, Momma Deadpool's gonna shove your claws where the sun don't shine!" he yelled, his two swords gleaming with a deadly edge.

Deadpool's movements were swift and precise. With a rapid series of strikes, he slashed at Venom's neck, his blades cutting through the black, fluid-like substance. The cuts were deep, and black matter oozed out, making Venom recoil in surprise.

"It seems that one million is unnecessary," Peter said, relieved by the unexpected turn of events. The help was more effective than he had dared to hope.

Kaneki Ken, however, remained cautious. His gaze was fixed on Venom, knowing that the monster's formidable regenerative abilities could negate even the most severe injuries. "It's useless," Kaneki muttered. "It has a powerful regeneration ability."
