Chapter 126 - Chapter 123 Testing alien technology

---

Max soared high above the clouds, the wind whipping through his hair as he pulled out his new super phone. The black, shimmering device felt almost alive in his hand, humming faintly as though it were aware of his presence.

"Let's see what this baby can really do," he muttered to himself.

Xrak made this phone only usable by Max, but he didn't set any name, leaving it for Max to choose.

Still, Max didn't immediately give it a name, but first thought of a truly impossible task, something even the most advanced tech couldn't manage.

He tapped on the screen and spoke, "AI, call my old nanny. She looked after me when I was around three years old. I don't have her number, name, or any details saved. Go."

Max's memory wasn't bad, so he still remembered, but he wanted to see how the AI would respond.

He fully expected the AI to request more input. After all, his current identity as Max was far removed from his old one as John Smith.

He didn't even look the same, and the phone didn't even have his current name.

To his shock, the phone's AI responded immediately in a calm, synthetic voice.

"Tracing identity failed! Scanning for previous identities... Searching for relevant individuals based on cross-referenced data."

Max raised an eyebrow as the phone began scouring records, analyzing old government files, outdated social media posts, and public surveillance footage. Within seconds, the screen displayed a name and picture: Nancy Reed.

"What the. … ". Max's jaw dropped as the phone confirmed the connection and initiated a call. The device didn't stop there.

It hacked into every available camera around Nancy, including her phone's front-facing camera, giving Max a full view of her as the call went through.

Nancy appeared on the screen, no longer the teenager who had cared for him all those years ago but a composed, elegant woman in her mid-thirties. Her hair was pulled back into a neat ponytail, and she wore a casual sweater as she sat at a kitchen table sipping coffee.

"Hello? Who is this?" Nancy's voice was warm but cautious.

Max ignored her question entirely, his eyes glued to the additional windows on his screen showing her environment: the security cameras in her kitchen, a nearby streetlight feed, even the reflection off a polished metal appliance.

"Impressive. Even I didn't know her family name," muttered Max under his breath, his lips curling into a satisfied grin. He ended the call before Nancy could say anything further, leaving her baffled.

Max tapped the phone's screen again, pulling up its holographic features. "AI, make a 3D holographic movie. Something... epic. Surprise me."

Within moments, a full-scale holographic projection erupted from the phone. Characters sprang to life mid-air: armored knights clashing against cyber-enhanced dragons, complete with breathtaking landscapes and vibrant effects.

Max flew at his normal speed as he watched the cinematic display unfold around him. "Now this is entertainment."

The AI chimed in, "Would you like to customize the genre, characters, or plotline?"

Max waved dismissively. "No need. Just keep it coming."

As the hologram ended, he tested the sound isolation function that was akin to fake invisible headphones.

Max could hear his pets going wild inside the pet space, but he simply ignored them for now.

"Activating localized sound isolation. External noise nullified."

Despite the roaring wind around him, Max heard the sound playing from the phone as though he were in a silent room. The isolation was seamless, making the world outside his phone's audio vanish entirely.

"huh, better than real headphones."

Next, he decided to test the camera. "AI, take a 360-degree panorama of this area in 8K resolution."

The phone projected a scanning grid that surrounded him. In less than a second, it captured a stunning image of the sky, clouds, and horizon, so detailed that it felt like he could step into it.

"Now find me all the birds in this image."

The AI highlighted dozens of tiny specks, identifying them as various bird species and providing real-time data about their flight patterns and habitats.

"Not bad," Max said. "Now for something practical. Find me a good place to rest nearby."

The AI scanned his surroundings and pinpointed a hidden clearing in a nearby forest. "Location identified. Estimated travel time: 3 minutes at current flight speed."

Of course, he was simply testing and didn't plan to rest, not until he reach his destination.

Max chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. "This thing's worth every bit of trouble."

As Max tested more of the phone's features, his excitement grew as the device seemed to have no limit.

.....

Finally, he decided to test its hacking capabilities. "AI, hack into the security systems of Phantom Titan HQ."

The AI's response was immediate. "Acknowledged. Gathering access points. Would you like to leave traces or remain undetected?"

Max smirked. "Undetected, obviously."

Within seconds, the phone displayed a live feed of the Titan HQ. Internal security cameras, encrypted databases, even private communications—all were at his fingertips.

"Whoa," Max muttered, scrolling through the data. "This thing's a masterpiece."

"Cannot gain access to Phantom Titan's private networks without access points. Would you like to launch a cyber attack?

Success chance: 78%

Alert: This action will immediately alert the other party to our infiltration."

"No need."

Max observed a little before the AI warned, "Prolonged access increases the risk of detection. Do you wish to continue?"

Max nodded, impressed by the AI's caution. "No, let's not push our luck. Disconnect."
