Ye Jin knocked at the door before her. Though she was alone now, she knew that Qing Yu would do nothing to her or Xi Ming because Ye Ruan had assured her. And even if he did, she would deal with him, even if it meant offending Xi Ming in the process.
Concerning Ye Ruan, he did seem a bit strange. At first, she noticed nothing wrong with him—he did seem like a normal person—but... she could not shake this fearful feeling about him.
The door creaked open, snapping Ye Jin out of her train of thought. At the entrance was Qing Fan with a lazy and somewhat mocking look in his eyes.
"Hey, ugly girl," he drawled. "Are you looking for that ugly boy?"
Ye Jin sneered, a bit annoyed by the nuisance. "His name is Xi Ming. Where is he?"
Qing Fan chortled. "Somewhere in the storage room, probably crying as usual."
Crack.
Ye Jin twisted Qing Fan's hands behind his back and slammed him against the wall, causing him to howl in pain.
