Enzo's POV
The moment I left the office yesterday, my mind hadn't been at ease. My thoughts kept drifting back to Tiara, her scent, her presence, and the way I felt when I was near her. No matter how hard I tried to push her out of my mind, she kept coming back like an itch I couldn't scratch. Something about her unnerved me, and it wasn't just the kiss or the awkward tension that had built between us. It was deeper than that. There was something that I couldn't quite place, something that made me feel on edge.
I drove home that morning, opting to take the wheel myself instead of letting one of my men handle it. The drive did nothing to clear my mind; instead, it made me even more restless. It was almost 9 a.m. by the time I reached home, and the mansion stood there like a looming presence, silent and cold. I parked my car and stepped inside, heading straight for my father's study.
