She froze at the sound of his voice, the hair on the back of her neck standing on end. She didn't want to turn around, didn't want to face him again. But she knew she had no choice.
Tiara tried to speed up her pace, hoping she could slip away from Enzo's gaze as quickly as possible. However, before she could fully escape, his voice echoed from behind, stern and unwavering.
"Don't even think about hiding from me at college too. I won't permit that," he warned, his tone low but filled with authority. "Better think before doing something that will bring punishment."
She clenched her fists at his words, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. She knew better than to challenge him openly. Enzo wasn't one to be ignored, especially when he wanted something from her. Obedience, it seemed, was something he prized. She straightened her back slightly and muttered, "Yes, Enzo."
He liked when she responded verbally, it gave him a sense of control.
