He is cool
He is smart
He is rich
He is handsome.
These were the people's thought as Malik Kent entered Ford Hotel. His presence made everyone look twice at him.
Malik strides into the elevator with his secretary, Maeve, she followed behind and pressed the number of the floor they are heading to. A lady in a red expensive gown was about to step into the elevator but as soon as she saw who occupied it she halted, she let the elevator close to her face.
'Was that Malik Kent?' she gasped
Everyone in their social class knew Malik Kent, the self made Billionaire and eligible bachelor and everyone wanted to meet. They knew as a perfect but no information on the internet state where he came from, or about his childhood. No one dared to enter the elevator when they saw Malik even though it opens two more times before reaching their destination.
Of course there is an exception.
A young blonde man also in black suit and a white under shirt entered the elevator without recognizing Malik; he faces his back to him. Malik scowled at the presence of the stranger who didn't notice what was going on behind him. On noticing her boss expression, Maeve decided to politely ask the young man to step out but she was stopped by her boss. With nothing to do but wait, Malik stared at the young man behind view in familiarity, he had seen that kind of body statue but can't pinpoint when or where. The elevator dinged pulling his mind away from the young man body. The blond man dropped at the eleventh floor while they dropped at the twelfth floor.
The hotel was a five stars hotel with thirteen floors. The thirteenth was retained for a special purpose while the twelve housed the CFO office. Maeve knocked on a fine brown wooden door that's unable to miss.
'Come in' calm voice came from the other side of the door.
They walked into the large office which was bright due to the glass wall across the room; the room furniture looked expensive and professionally picked. Some expensive art work was displayed on the left side of the wall, "Art lover" Malik thought.
An elegant woman dressed richly, stood from her seat which was behind her large brown table and moved to the sofa.
'Have a seat' she said with a warm smile grazing her face, he sat on the sofa across her as Maeve stood beside him.
'Malik Kent' The woman asked and Malik gave a slight nod barely moving his body
'Oh, not much of a talker, Gwen bring the contract' she called to her secretary; soon the contracts were placed in front of them. He grasped through the pages before signing and exchanging contracts, he didn't have to read it through since he had read the soft copy. The woman insisted he comes in person to sign the contract so here he is, sitting in an office bigger than his, in front of a middle aged woman who doesn't seem to notice that he isn't interested in small talks.
'I sincerely thank you for being our first investor in Ford Entertainment' she said
'It seems profitable and it has a future' Malik said plastering a smile on his face.
'You seem to know business well, I hope you and my son get along, maybe he could learn from you' she said
'Your son' he asked
'He's managing Ford Entertainment, this his first time in business' she answered
'If he is determined he might achieve and become successful' Malik said, ready to leave, he gave Maeve the copy of the contract.
'I've been meaning to ask, are you in a relationship?' she said
"Here we go again" he mentally groaned
'My niece is single so are you, I thought I could...' she trailed off as she noticed the scowl on his face
'Not interested' he growled and left the office.
'Nice meeting you, ma'am' Maeve said apologetically
'Call me Theresa' the woman said and Maeve curtly nod and went after her boss
'You should have been nice back in there' Maeve said when they got into he elevator.
'I thought you were in secretary mode' her boss snorted
'This is the last meeting on your schedule so I see no reason to' she said and only got silence from Malik
'If you don't agree to any blind dates, I would set you up with a guy' she said still no response but his demeanor changed, a little sadder, 'I need a drink' he said losing his shirt around his neck
'You can't, you have a meeting with Nat' she said
'And her boyfriend' he asked and her answer was positive. 'Move it'
'I'm sorry I can't, she threatened to reveal her identity as your sister to the media' he groaned.
He current sat in Stark-bark with his annoying sister and her boyfriend who is obviously scared of him, not because of his cold demeanor but because he is still waiting for his approval even though he has been dating his sister for three years. He kept making dry jokes which his sister found funny and he wondered what kind of couple they are.

Thirteen years old Malik went on a boot camping where he met his first friend. Malik has always been mistaken for a quiet type since he hangs out with no one at school. Malik had decided to go because it wasn't hosted his school and it was out of town.
'Hi, is this bed taken' a timid voice asked, that was when he meet him and their ocean collide.
He didn't hear the cabinet or the bedroom door open maybe he was half asleep or the owner of the voice was really gentle with the door. Malik opened his eyes and saw a shy person, he couldn't decided the person gender.
'Is the bed taken' they asked a little louder and finally looking into Malik's eyes.
They were taking about the bed across him; 'No' he replied and closed his eyes missing the redness creeping up their face.
'Are you a boy or a girl' Malik asked with his eyes still closed, when he got no answer he opened his eyes and turned on his side, they were frowning and their lips formed a pout, "Cute" he thought.
'I'm a boy' they finally said
'I doubt that, what is your name?' the Arabian boy said taking interest in the boy who didn't answer him. His eyebrow narrowed, it was not near intimidating, it was more like a cute gesture.
'Is it because you're shy that you aren't answering me?'
'I don't like my name'
'Don't worry I wouldn't make fun of you'
He exhaled before he answered, 'Theodore'
'Mine is Malik, since you don't like yours, mind if I call you Dore?'
'Dore? I like it' he said with a smile.
'I hope we get along, Dore'
'I hope so too, Malik' the shy boy said and his pale skin turned red.

'He thinking about him again'
'He never stops thinking about him' Natalie and her boy friend, Chris whispered between each other.
'You think he's gay?' Chris said
'I'm not gay and I'm not thinking about him' Malik said thinking they would drop the topic.
'If it isn't him then it's the one you met when you were thirteen' Natalie said gaining a scowl from her brother but she didn't care.
'How do you know so much about him' Chris asked
'I'm not only his sister; I'm also his best friend apart from Maeve'
'I need to get a drink' Malik said and left without drinking the latte he ordered
It was already 9:00pm when he arrived at Night Angels a high rated night club, the exterior looked like a five star restaurant only the people who go there knows what it really is. The bouncer allowed him in when he showed him his VIP card. On entering the club, he was met with loud music, loud enough to block his thoughts but he needs something more distracting so he opt for drinking. He ordered drinks after drinks until the bartender refuse to take his order.
'Do you want to die from Alcoholism' the bartender said in a thick Mexican accent
'That might be better' the billionaire sloppily replied
'Hey Dore, you want to hang out this night?' A man beside him said to blonde man.
Malik's mind was stable for a moment, he turned to see the man called Dore, short blonde hair and it happened to be the same man he met in the elevator.
'Blonde...' Malik trailed off as his mind became sloppy.
Instead of seeing the man called Dore, he saw the man with a shoulder length blond hair, tied in a messy pony tail, he was blindfolded and he looked frightened.
'I'm finally seeing things' he said and blacked out
"My past has come back to haunt me, I deserve it"
