Daeranyx POV
After my discussion with Corlys about the contracts concluded, I made my way to the chambers where I reside within this keep. I found myself pondering Corlys' impending decision concerning our conversation. Honestly, he seemed prepared to sign the contract, even after I detailed all the penalties. Despite the hesitation in his eyes, there was a sense of resignation, coupled with the hope that ultimately, his decision to sign would prove advantageous for his House in the future.
My focus shifted from the contract to what I would do for the rest of the day. With little pressing business at hand, I decided to dedicate some time to Dragon-riding with Anarion. In preparation for the upcoming ritual to enhance Anarion, I planned out my schedule for the next fortnight.
Once the ritual was complete, some significant changes would occur. Anarion, my dragon, would no longer remain by my side—I intended to send him to Skagos, where he could grow far from prying eyes. The ritual would take place on the island itself, where I would ward the area, ensuring complete privacy. These precautions were necessary, for the transformation Anarion would undergo in the two months following the ritual would be nothing short of extraordinary. His growth would be beyond natural, and it was essential to keep it hidden from unwanted attention.
A thought occurred to me as I considered sending Anarion to Skagos: many threats that lurk unseen might only do so because of Anarion's presence. And they would reveal themselves after his absence. However, with a fortnight's practice of space magic and the wards I've placed to protect my chambers, I have little to fear. There may be not many who could best me in direct combat, but there are many methods exist to kill a person without a confrontation. The phoenix tears I always carry are an additional safeguard. With the tears and my magic, few threats can reach me here. Should an unexpected event like the Dragon Lords of Volantis arise, I would first assess the threat. If it's within my power to neutralize without revealing my full capabilities, I would do so. Otherwise, I would at least master silent apparition during the fortnight.
I began my journey towards Anarion's resting place, intent on taking a flight accompanied solely by Anarion. A persistent thought swirls in my mind, stemming from my recent encounter with the animal within. The desire to become an Animagus is strong—who wouldn't want to achieve such a marvelous feat of magic? It's an extraordinary experience that I'm fortunate enough to consider. However, I'm hesitant to shift my focus from space magic, and it's the only thing preventing me from delving into my mindscape and dedicating myself to extensive meditation to meet my animal form.
Ultimately, I chose to pursue the path I had decided on, as it allows me to focus on becoming an Animagus after a fortnight. A skill more aligned with space magic may be more beneficial to me in the near future than the Animagus transformation, especially since I already have a dragon ally. Therefore, my fortnightly schedule is set: wake up, fly with Anarion, practice swordsmanship, have a midday meal, and then dedicate as much time as possible to magical training. Of course, I anticipate deviations from this schedule, as many events are likely to disrupt it. The first deviation will be negotiating a deal with the Targaryens for a ritual that will strengthen their bond with dragons. I eagerly await this event and know it will happen soon.

The Red Keep
Fortnight after
Daeranyx POV
Time seems to fly faster when you're immersed in work; at least, that's the case for me. A fortnight has elapsed since I discussed the contract with Corlys, and I've adhered to my schedule as closely as possible. Numerous events have transpired over these two weeks, as is often the case with the passage of time. However, I can assert with confidence that this period has been productive. I've made progress not only in my physical fitness and magical abilities but also in my combat skills. There hasn't been a single day in these two weeks when I haven't sharpened my swordsmanship. Moreover, I've perfected the art of silent apparition, enabling me to teleport silently, which enhances my novice stealth skills. And to why I have ranked my skill novice in place of non-existent because the very least, I can cloak myself with an invisibility spell, which is quite a useful skill to have for stealth.
I am on my way back to my chambers after a sparring session in the courtyard with none other than the King's guards. In less than a moon, I've honed my skills to the point where I can best any of the Gold Cloaks of the city watch. Having defeated them, I inquired about the King's guard's training schedule to further refine my swordsmanship. I approached a member of the King's guard and requested a sparring match. The King's guard are privy to my presence, apart from the Dragon lords of Westeros, as they are constantly in the company of the Royal family, with whom I am currently a guest.
Although sparring with the King's guard is a recent addition, I have attained a level of skill said to be among the best in the seven kingdoms in such short amount of time is an achievement of which I am immensely proud. In the realm of magic, my most notable accomplishment is the silent apparition, beyond which my discoveries during training are relatively minor. Most importantly, today is the day I receive what I've requested Corlys to bring from overseas, coinciding with the ritual to enhance the power of my dragon.
After my first encounter, there has been no subsequent sighting of my animal form. While I haven't actively sought it out, I have frequently entered my mindscape during meditation, especially when mentally exhausted from attempting to comprehend space magic. Over the past fortnight, I've visited my mindscape daily following training, yet my animal form remains elusive, even after an hour of meditation aimed at alleviating accumulated fatigue. Additionally, the ritual that I've conducted which significantly strengthened the bond between Laena and Vhagar, it had reached the Targaryen's shortly after Laena performed the ritual. However, that flashback is a tale for another time.
Today, upon my return from my flight with Anarion, I was met by servants from Corlys. They relayed a message from Corlys himself, informing me that the items I had requested had arrived at the docks of King's Landing. Knowing it would not be long before they were delivered to my chambers, I chose to spend the interim in the courtyard, rather than wait idly for the ingredients to be brought to me.
Upon reaching my chambers, I was informed by the guard that is now stationed outside of my chambers that the servants of House Velaryon had departed, leaving behind the items they brought. Having previously granted them entry permission, my guard and wards that is stationed in my chambers did not intervene. Without delay, I opened the metal doors to my chambers myself, before the guard could do it for me. Inside, I found numerous trunks and wooden boxes scattered across the floor. Utilizing my magical senses, I detected an aura of magic emanating from them, confirming that Corlys had indeed brought everything I had requested.
