(The Distant Past – Narrated by Faiz Ihsan)
Many years ago, this region was ruled by a brave, daring and intelligent leader named Shaahin Han. He made sure that his people could utilise the resources of his nation to their liking… The Anatolia region prospered, until his reign was over. Following his death, all of his sons gave little regard to their land or their people, as they were busy fighting for the throne. However, after the fourth, and final son took control of the city, it was too late, as the city was ruined to unimaginable levels… Following this, the Dark Souls found an opportunity to bring in the Shoguns from the Far East, and help them settle in our region, as their lands would almost always be devastated by floods and other natural disasters… Ever since the Shoguns arrived to present-day Edirne, they have been slowly yet steadily taking over our lands… Meanwhile, Shaahin Han's youngest son, Masih Han, could not deal with the trouble of the Shoguns, as his treasury and army could not deal with both, the problems of his people, and the threats to his empire…
The Shoguns soon became the dominant force, and hence, the Dark Souls' presence further spread throughout the area… Their presence was accompanied by terror, fear and oppression, and the Anatolian folk kept praying for the day their salvation would arrive. On the other hand, Masih Han improved the situation of his city, and even sorted the problems within his army. However, no one, including Masih Han himself, was ready to go head-n against the Dark Souls… Until, a valiant and daring individual, by the name "Yildrim" came about in his presence…
Masih Han: What is it that you wanted to tell me Yildrim? They said its important…
Yildrim: If you find it appropriate, then I'd like to confront the Dark Souls and fight against them…
Everyone, including Masih Han, bursts into laughter…
Masih Han: (laughs) Even the mighty and powerful Masih Han still thinks more than twice before going head on against them, but where do you get your courage from?
Yildrim: Myself and my warriors, have been waiting for a mission that would seem impossible, and this mission is just exactly that. Besides, we do not care about the opponent's strength or numbers… Because we have full trust and faith in ourselves… The reason why I wanted to talk to you about this was so that we can get at least monetary support from your side…
Masih Han: Sadly, I cannot provide any funds to your "expedition", since my treasury has just started being stable, and I cannot pour all the existing resources into an expensive and time-consuming mission…
Yildrim: Alright then, we'll handle this issue by ourselves…
Masih Han: Very well, all the best then…
Yildrim and his men go to their headquarters to take care of this issue…
Yildrim: Firstly, we have to equip ourselves with the strongest of weapons and armour, since the Dark Souls will definitely have the numbers advantage…
Serhad: But sir, we have only the most basic equipment at hand. We should've asked Masih Han to provide us support by giving us some of their weapons instead…
Yildrim: No way, Serhad! Their weapons are heavy and unwieldy. We need weapons that are easy to carry and wield!
Serhad: Where do we find such weapons sir?
Yildrim: The good news is that we already have such weapons, and they are almost ready…
Serhad: How is this possible sir?
Yildrim: Almost anything is possible, if you place your full faith in it… Besides, these weapons are unlike anything the world has ever seen yet…
Yildrim's skilled craftsmen bring the weapons in front of him, and places them on the craftsman's table…
Serhad: Woah! What is this sir?! They look like normal swords and bows, but they perform nothing like the ones available today…
Yildrim: Yes indeed, these are swords and bows, fused with mystical jewels, found deep beneath the surface of the Earth. The blue jewel in particular, has a distinct property of starting a lightning as soon as it is unsheathed, which suits my "Yildrim" (lightning in Turkish) name…
Serhad: So, will each one of us get such a weapon?! I mean this seems powerful enough to destroy the Dark Souls over and over again…
Yildrim: These weapons are to be wielded by commanders like me, since such power must never end up in the wrong hands…
Serhad: But then there are six different weapons, the blue set will be taken by you, and the rest would go to...
Yildrim: The rest would go to my fellow commanders that fought with me during the Great Struggle…
Without any further ado, the five other commanders come to the workshop, and are amazed after seeing their weaponry… They pick up their weapons and proceed to move towards the nest of the Dark Souls. Yildrim's assistant Serhad also accompanies them… Most of the Dark Souls members have gone away for an expedition that aims to stretch their influence beyond the Asian continent…
The other five commanders successfully infiltrate and occupy the headquarters. Yildrim barges through the door, only to see his fellow commanders chained up to a really tall pole. A villainous cackle follows, and it gets louder and louder, until the group responsible for the mess finally appears…
Yildrim: SERHAD?! So, it was you all along?! Why did you do this to us?!
Serhad: Humans… Have their desires, and I was born, with a desire for POWER! I want the world to be at my fingertips! Oh, and by the way, I am actually… The Head of the Dark Souls. It's just that, I wanted to be ahead of the curve, so I made an alibi and became one of you…
Yildrim: What do you gain from such power? And is ruling over the world only possible with fear and oppression?!
Serhad: I don't know, I just… Love Power. And yes, while there are "other" ways, its much easier to rule the world with fear and oppression. No wonder Masih Han obeys my word, and I eliminated his father, Shaahin Han because he didn't agree to my terms. Oh, and it was me who chose his youngest son to be in charge, so yeah.
Yildrim: So, you KILLED Shaahin Han?!
Serhad: Yes indeed! And now, I'll make sure the last (pfft, more like lost) hopes against the Dark Souls also die in peace, but not before acquiring your mystical weapons… The fire guy sure does pack in a lot of firepower in his bow, ha-ha!
Despite Yildrim having his hands chained and being surrounded by 6 henchmen, he manages to break free of his shackles and knocks the 6 henchmen out. Meanwhile, Serhad has finished collecting the mystical weapons, and is about to approach Yildrim to collect his set of weapons. Little did Serhad know, that Yildrim and his fellow commanders were ready to even sacrifice their lives, if the secret of the weapons to be concealed…
Yildrim: My friends, we either win, or die with pride and honour!
And so, Yildrim takes out his bow, and places a jewel destroyer arrow. As he is about to fire, Serhad tries to stop him…
Serhad: I WILL NOT LET YOU DESTROY THESE WEAPONS! THEY ARE THE KEY TO MY DOMINANCE!!
Yildrim: If they are the key to your dominance, then let them be destroyed for good…
Yildrim fires the arrow, and Serhad tries to stop it using his shield, but the arrow pierces through the shield, and hits the weapons. An extremely huge and powerful explosion follows, and the Nest of the Dark Souls is destroyed to the ground…
