After filling their stomachs, the two students continued their way through the labyrinth.
"Since we can't wander outside the labyrinth because of the roaming demons, let's just make sure to stay safe in here," Seraphis said, lightening the mood as she noticed Leonard cautiously navigating the rocky, narrow paths of the cave-like fallen structures.
Leonard glanced at her with no particular reason. "Why are you only saying that now?"
"Nothing," she shrugged.
A few minutes later, Leonard began walking ahead of Seraphis. She noticed this and questioned his actions, confused by his sudden decision to take the lead.
"I've been leading the way all this time. Why are you taking the initiative now?"
Leonard didn't respond immediately, contemplating whether to share his newfound ability or not. His silence felt heavy.
