Leonard marveled at the two fields of view—one where he saw Seraphis's back with his own eyes, and the other from the ground, which wasn't his perspective but Crolight's, his shadow summon.
It seemed that Crolight had given him an advantage in this situation. Considering how dark it could get in the inner parts of the labyrinth, his unending summon was proving to be incredibly useful.
However, there was a catch: he had lost his shadow. What would happen if people saw him shadowless? Of course, they'd assume he was a demon in disguise.
The worst-case scenario? He could be hunted, or executed on the spot.
But that was a concern for the future. Right now, the current situation was more pressing. As the night embraced him with clear vision, Leonard set out to see what more he could do with Crolight.
