"I've recalled the name of what you described. It's a Giant Demon Warrior, similar to the one that attacked the library," Seraphis stated as soon as Leonard woke up from his rest.
Leonard didn't reply and pondered what she had said. If he wasn't mistaken, he remembered the demon had a few scratches on its hands and spear-like fingers, possibly from the library if it was the same one. But, knowing Seraphis, he didn't mention it to her.
"I've made a plan to sneak past the demon. I just need your expertise as a battle master in case of a clash, but the goal is to escape, not defeat it," Leonard stated, making Seraphis adopt a pondering look.
"Why do you say that?"
Leonard hadn't shared what he discovered earlier when Seraphis woke up. This time, he shared what he had found, weighing the situation and the options for survival. In the end, sneaking past their demon neighbor seemed like the best chance.
