For the mission, Leonard was willing to do everything. Now, he was aiming to get the best he could from the Basic Summoning Scroll. This could be their way out of the labyrinth easily.
As Seraphis promised to guard him while he focused on his chanting, Leonard kept his back straight, summoning Drion as well just in case. Feeling complacent about his surroundings, the whole three minutes of chanting went smoothly, coming to an end with the final two-minute combination of what he hoped for—a mount.
Getting a mount would save them time. But as Leonard continued with the summoning ritual, pouring magic into it, he slowly realized that he still lacked something.
'Shit... the ritual is over.' He wiped imaginary sweat from his forehead, feeling anxious about the result of the summon.
Seraphis's eyes widened in amusement as purple light appeared above the summoning scroll. Leonard's eyes were filled with anticipation as well.
'Please be a mount.'
