"You probably wouldn't understand this. Those weren't locals of Earth who recognized you. This is another world," Leonard stated, before lifting his body up and helping some of the villagers who were struggling to calm down.
As he was familiar to everyone, he knew what would calm them down, which he proceeded to do. However, Zeus followed him, disregarding the villagers and continuing to question Leonard.
"This is about the reincarnation you're talking about, right? So, why do you know this is a different world?"
Leonard stopped what he was doing and faced Zeus with a different expression, one that was unfazed and contrasted sharply with his previous look of surprise.
"I am a Player. Earth doesn't have that concept."
Zeus furrowed his brow, clearly confused and disbelieving Leonard's words. From Leonard's perspective, there were hovering holographic screens akin to a gaming status board. Although Leonard wasn't much of a gamer, he could recognize the nature of the screens.
'Fantasy world or maybe a game… I don't know. But for sure, this will not keep me in this village. Learning about its existence has pulled me out of my mundane life, which is different from my previous life.'
Leonard sighed before explaining to Zeus what he could see. Just after his arrival, a voice and the floating status board appeared before him. Zeus couldn't see it, which made it difficult for him to understand.
"This is why I sealed the connection to the mortal world because of their advancement. But why do you know all of this?" Zeus asked, genuinely curious about Leonard's identity.
"On Earth, as technology advanced, electronic games improved to the point where people could play with ease. There are specific games where they create their own character and grow it stronger. Why I know this is a different world? Clearly, the vibes are medieval. The houses look old, and there's something hovering in my vision that wasn't normal to me."
As Leonard stated his hypothesis, Zeus looked around once more, specifically staring at the swords left by the bandits. Nodding, he agreed.
"Right, this is a different world. But why are you so calm about it? You should be freaked out," Zeus asked.
"I should be the one asking you. Why are you acting so playful? What happened to the charismatic, wise, and authoritative god?"
Zeus swept the air with a playful roll of his eyes and a soft laugh. "That was long ago. Times have changed. In reality, the gods and goddesses you mortals knew have long changed their personalities."
"Really…?" Leonard paused, suspiciously watching Zeus's attitude.
There was still a hint of worry about how the events had turned, but he could tolerate it, as what mattered most to him was his newly acquired power.

Leonard, having never experienced the outside world, relied on web novels, light novels, and animations to pass the time. He hadn't played many video games, as he lacked the energy even to move his fingers quickly. In his first life, he was essentially bedridden and sometimes watched his parents farm.

"So, answer me, why are you so calm this time?" Zeus asked again.
"Well, it's because of this second life I had hoped for. I don't think I lived a normal life before; otherwise, I'd be freaking out all the time. I don't know what's normal, so the only difference between my previous life and this one is the nature of the world. The setting is different."
Zeus paused, looked at Leonard with a concerned and sympathetic expression, and sighed before placing his hands on Leonard's shoulders.
"I know you're weak, but I'll help you. I'll see what I can learn about this incident. If you need help, just summon me like you did before. Just give me a heads-up next time."
"Thanks for the help, Zeus. This is still unbelievable, but I'll manage to sort things out. I'm Leonard, in case I haven't introduced myself."
Zeus smiled joyfully before disappearing in a flash of electrical energy. Leonard, reflecting on the events that had transpired, analyzed the status board that appeared before him. He studied the possible uses and read the basic descriptions of the features.

Pondering further, he realized that there could be different methods of summoning. As he analyzed the status screen, he didn't find any method of summoning listed. He didn't even have any registered knowledge of summoning.
"How did I summon Zeus? Was it just a coincidence? Or, this was the gift from my parents?"
Regardless of the reason, things were slowly becoming clearer to Leonard. To learn more about being a Player, he needed to use the features the gaming system had given him. This meant that, with each mission, there could be consequences for every outcome.
