The Warammar family were said to be the strongest military family under the Dhamalan crown. The 'War Hammers' of the empire, they were aptly named the Warammar. Of the 153 Eternal Realm territories owned by the lords of the Dhamalan Empire over one fifth of them belonged to the Warammar family. Combined with the 33 territories owned by the Dhamlan family themselves, it made them one of the strongest empires in the human continent.
Each and every year multiple groups of eighteen year olds would enter the Eternal Realm from the Dhamlan Empire, but only a few would be able to come back, narrate their tales and have a territory to their name. If Charles would have been a year older or younger, he would have had his own territory in the Eternal Realm. But he happened to be the same age as the sixth princess and according to Dhamlan law, if someone from the royal line was entering the Eternal Realm, the top thousand awakeners of that year had to give up their claim to an Eternal Realm territory and join the royal heir in their campaign.
That was fine with Charles, he was much happier being under the princess than being a lord of his own territory. Well he would much rather go back to his old life of malnourishment and sleeping on the streets, than be stuck here. But he was here, he had been here for years and so he had adapted. He had mastered their own game and became the best at it. In the past six years he had easily suppressed any and all resistance that had been raised against him. The list of his victims was long and also included a couple of baron families. Today if anyone tried searching for these families, all they would find was a bankrupt household and a fallen family name.
Some people wondered what Charles could have accomplished if he had been a legitimate Warammar and had had the family's support. But Charles couldn't care less about that. All he wanted was to live a long life and die in his bed at the age of hundred, surrounded by a couple of his beautiful wives…well maybe only one wife who would love him throughout his life.
But to achieve all of that he had to make sure that he survived this world, and what better way to achieve that, than to pull the strings while hiding behind this princess right in front of him.

On the other side of the grand Northern gates there were about 50 hover vehicles, unloading their cargo and passing it to the THAMA security for detection.
"Take all this to the…third highest floor of the first year dorm. ", Alexia Dhamlan ordered her servants, as she clicked on her watch to check her rank.
She looked around and frowned at the false show of care the royal family was showing towards her. May it be fake or not, this great entourage had succeeded in achieving its goal as a huge crowd of students had gathered near the northern gate. Even though Alexia was only one of a dozen children of the Dhamlan Emperor, she was a princess, and the Empire had to make sure that everyone sees their strength and support for the royal candidate that was going to enter this year's Eternal Wars.
Sensing Charles' familiar presence in the crowd, Alexia turned her head and locked eyes with him. Nodding at him in greeting she made her way forward.
The first time Charles had laid his eyes on the 'Fire Princess' he was stunned out of words, she was that beautiful. With blonde curly hair that came down as waves from her head and a sharp, angelic face, she had a unique charm and beauty. Standing at 6.1 an inch taller than Charles and wearing the Dhamlan war uniform her presence was no less than a Goddess, such that some students were staring at her with utter awe and reverence.
"Shrrrk", giving a shriek of joy, Eaglis flew from Charles shoulder and gently landed in Alexia's outstretched arms.
"He's never that gentle with me." Charles said with an annoyed look on his face.
"Maybe he loves me more than you." Alexia replied laughing and playing with the beast in her arms.
"Ungrateful bastard!" Charles said, clicking his tongue.
Alexia chuckled looking Charles up and down, "You look healthy, I presume the weather has been pleasant…"
Charles instantly understood the hidden meaning 'I presume there has been no incident, and no one is making any moves.'
"As pleasant as it is when there are no rains and storms. But I heard a big storm is coming." 'It's just the silence before the storm'. He looked back at the princess and continued "What about you? How was your stay at the Dhamalan capital?"
"Ahh it was so hot, I was sweating every minute of the day. I hope that storm arrives soon."
'It was hot…', something had happened. Alexia could never feel hot, she was the incarnation of hotness: 'The Princess of Flames', heat bowed before her, not the other way around. 'I hope the storm arrives soon'. Something so big had happened that it was going to change the dynamics in the academy too.
Giving a smile Charles said, "We have so much to catch up on, let's find a quiet place and talk. You need to tell me everything!"
