It's been a week since Yang Luoya went into Lakeside Pavilion. His heat was completely subsided, but just to be sure he have to stay at Lakeside pavilion for another few days. During this period of time, Yang Luoya spend his time reading book inside his room. Baskets of oranges inside his room decreased little by little but the amount still much after a week. He had enough of oranges, probably hated it at this point.
In the middle of the night, Yang Luoya couldn't sleep so he read another book and drink some warm milk to help him fallen asleep. Suddenly crashing sound was heard outside. Yang Luoya jumped out the bed and went outside. He's shocked from what he has seen.
It was Yang Wei, he fell near the small stairs, not far from Yang Luoya room. He had small bruises on his leg. Since Yang Luoya still inside Lakeside pavilion, no one shouldn't allowed to get near. There's only one explanation, Yang Wei sneaked in. As soon as Yang Wei's eyes meet his, Yang Wei cried.
"wh-what are you doing outside there?", Yang Luoya shocked. He made a small run towards Yang Wei and help him getting up. Yang Wei still cried despite Yang Luoya already in front of him. Suddenly Yang Wei hugged Yang Luoya while still crying.
"why are you crying? is it hurt that much?", Yang Luoya asked while patting Yang Wei's back.
"i thought.... i thought you're dying.... You never come back.... don't leave me", Yang Wei cried between sobs. Yang Luoya was speechless, he didn't know what to say.
"let's get inside first, it's chilly outside", Yang Wei nodded but didn't let go of Yang Luoya's arm. As soon as they went inside, Yang Wei noticed several basket of oranges.
"That's why the orange smell is so strong, you really like orange?", Yang Wei stares at Yang Luoya.
"w-well... as you can see....", Yang Wei avoiding Yang Wei stares.
Yang Luoya made Yang Wei sit on his bed while he treat his bruises. Yang Wei stopped crying but his eyes and his nose still red from earlier.
"How you get inside? there's many guards patrolling outside", Yang Luoya asked as he treat Yang Wei bruises.
"I climb the wall, i was searching for you, but i was careless and fell from the stairs, it's not high but it hurt", Yang Wei explain. After finish treating Yang Wei, Yang Luoya sit beside him.
"Why are you looking for me?"
"People said you caught mysterious illness.... i thought you're dying.... i'm afraid you will leave me forever", His tone is full of emotion. His hand tremble a bit.
"well... i'm sick but not caught that mysterious illness you said before. As you can see, i'm strong, no disease can beat me", i smiled at him.
"brother.... do you hate me?", Yang Wei suddenly ask.
"Why do you think i hate you?"
".... after i accidently pushed Zhao Ling from the stairs, you yell at me and avoiding me"
"(really? kids these day think someone hate them if someone scold them? i guess they're the same as modern world children, weak mindset)", Yang Luoya thought. "i scold you because you are wrong, but that doesn't mean i hate you. In fact, get scolded means someone love you", Yang Wei were taken aback from that sentence.
"but you have been avoiding me"
"when did i do that?"
"the day after you scold me for pushing Zhao Ling, you ignored me. And then you went into a mission without even telling me you won't be back for a whole day. After you came back you didn't paid attention to me because you're tired"
"(.... i did that? well i had a lot in mind after receiving the mission, i don't know i have ignoring him. I didn't inform him because i thought it's unnecessary. It's not like i didn't paid attention to him because i'm tired, i guess it's because my sudden heat that affect my body)" Yang Luoya Thought.
"I'm sorry about my previous action, i mean... it's not like ignore or avoiding you on purpose, i have a lot in mind, sorry for making you worried", Yang Luoya said.
"so you never hate me from the start?", Yang Wei asked in disbelief.
"why would i hate my loved one without a reason", Yang Luoya said as he shake his head. Suddenly a small smile and pink cheeks formed on Yang Wei face.
"i'm sleeping here tonight", Yang Wei said and lay down on Yang Luoya's bed without permission. He faced the wall, hiding his grinning face from Yang Luoya.
"... alright, i will take the room next door", Before Yang Luoya manage to stand up, Yang Wei grabbed his hand. "No, sleep with me, i couldn't sleep alone, i miss you so much", His eyes become red again as if he would cry anytime now.
"the bed is small-", before Yang Luoya finished his sentence, Yang Wei cut it off, "don't worry, we can squeeze in"
Seing determination from Yang Wei eyes, Yang Luoya give up. Yang Luoya lay down beside Yang Wei while Yang Wei hug him like a koala. Yang Luoya smile at his younger brother cute act. Yang Wei hidding his happy face in Yang Luoya's chest as he hug him in his sleep.
"(this orange scent.... is comforting)", Yang Wei thought before falling sleep.
The next day, Bai Qian was shocked from what he just see. Yang Luoya and Yang Wei hugging each other while sleeping. Where did Yang Wei came from anyway. Yang Luoya wake up.
"Bai Qian?.... it's morning already", Said Yang Luoya still half asleep. Yang Wei also wake up after that.
"m-my lord, the bath is ready", said Bai Qian.
"is that so?... Yang Wei should take a bath first, he struggle quite a lot yesterday", Yang Wei still confused since he just woke up. Yang Luoya stroke his hair and said, "You take a bath first, breakfast will ready after you done", Yang Wei nodded obediently and leave the room.
"my lord, something like this is risky, sleeping together with an alpha after your heat?", Bai Qian said worried.
"he's just a kid"
"he's almost 12, that's the age limit a child could start sense pheromones, You're still hiding your true self right now, we can't take risky action.... i have warned you years before... it seems like Yang Wei sense develop faster and sharper than normal child. I think he can sense your pheromones long before"
What Bai Qian said was right. 12 years old children is the limit where a child can sense pheromones, unless they are beta of course. Spending time with Yang Wei right after his heat is certainly risky move. He have to wait until his medicine works just like before.
"I think i should spend less time with him until my body returned the way after i consume the medicine"
