Thankfully, it seemed that Luciel didn't have any bad intentions, as he was even asking if he was doing something illegal, and if he did, he would report him. But for him, doing something illegal would be impossible.
His family would be the first ones to arrest him if he ever did something illegal. Treyton went to live with his grandparents when he was already 10 years old because of the dysfunctional marriage between his parents.
His grandparents, uncles, and most of his cousins were all part of the military, so if he did something illegal, they would be the people who would arrest him first.
They had wanted him to stay in the military because of his excellence; however, he didn't want to just follow something arranged for him, and he also didn't want to deal with the strictness of the military. If he stayed in the military, he needed to abide by the strict laws and always follow orders from those in higher positions, so he didn't stay in it.
Although he didn't stay in the army, he was still closely related to them; that was also why he was injured this time.
The police have been tracking drug trafficking, which has been abundant lately, and they caught wind that a big part of it was in the entertainment industry. His grandfather was close to the police, so when they asked for help, his grandfather directly agreed without even asking him.
His grandfather would often let him get involved in such troublesome things because he didn't stay in the military. This time, he was caught in the crossfire between the drug traffickers and the police.
Fortunately, he escaped with only a bullet in his arms. However, he can't let others find out about it because it would be troublesome. The others who weren't caught certainly know that someone leaked their information, and as one of the few guests invited to it, he would be suspected. He doesn't want to get further involved in such a troublesome case, so no one should know that he was injured.
When he came to the villa, he actually planned to treat his wounds himself and call his doctor to check on them tomorrow, with Luciel as the cover. However, he met Luciel, who had just gotten back, and he also had a keen nose, so he was discovered.
Treyton could only ask for his cooperation and even had to give a bonus because it wasn't in the contract. If it were his past lovers, they would surely actively cooperate with him to enhance their own image, or even if they asked for a price, they wouldn't accept such a huge amount as if it were just right.
Even though he was generous, as he had a lot of money, he wouldn't just offer that amount of money as a price for his cooperation.
He expected that, just like the others, they wouldn't accept it and would only accept a third of it, but he didn't expect that Luciel would accept it readily and was very happy that he received it.
Seeing him glad about it, he didn't say anything further; he was the one who offered it anyway.
With Luciel's attitude, it seemed that they would last longer than his past lovers. It should be enjoyable to be with him for a while.
After seeing how Luciel was already sleeping deeply, he also wanted to sleep already. So, he messaged Nathan to come early in the morning to check on his wounds, took a painkiller, and lay beside Luciel.
----
Luciel was woken up when someone continued to knock on the door, but he was still very sleepy. He hasn't slept properly for the last seven years because most of the time he was on guard against others, or they were fighting with monsters. Three hours of sleep were already considered a luxury at that time.
In the past three days, he would sleep and wake up anytime he wanted to. He also wanted to continue doing it to make up for the lack of sleep he had had in the past few years.
So, he didn't care about it and just nudged Treyton, who was beside him, and said without even opening his eyes, "Go, open your door."
Treyton, who also couldn't withstand the continued knocking, stood up because he saw that Luciel really didn't have a plan to wake up at all.
"Hey! Isn't it okay to just knock on the door once or twice?" Luciel heard Treyton say.
"I woke up very early in the morning because of your message, so it isn't excessive to also wake you up in a good way."
"Come in and don't be too loud; he is still sleeping."
"Is that your new lover?"
"Yes, it's him. So, be quiet and just check my wounds. I still want to go back to sleep."
"How can you say that? You won't even invite me for breakfast. If you aren't my friend, I won't even be coming to treat you."
"We are indeed friends, but both of us know that you came here because I paid you generously; you won't even move out of your clinic if I don't offer something good. Just check my injury first."
"Ok, let me see. You're certainly not the one who treated your injury this time. Unlike your crude way of treatment, this seemed like it'd been done by someone professional. If you already had others treat it, why did you still call me?"
"It is treated by him."
"Oh, this time your lover is a doctor; that's new."
"No, he isn't. That's why I still called you."
"He would surely be a good doctor."
"Don't get any ideas; he is earning a lot of money as a model compared to what he could earn as a doctor. Besides, he is with me, so he doesn't lack anything."
"With the way he treated you, he should have practiced a lot. What if he actually wanted to be a doctor?"
"Ugh, can both of you shut up? I can't sleep properly," Luciel said sleepily.
