"Hey, don't try to appear too pitiful and make us the bad guys," Treyton cut in, clearly not impressed.
"Huh, did he say something false?" Luciel asked, glancing at Treyton with curiosity.
"No, everything he said is indeed true, but that's not the end of the story," Treyton said.
"Then, what happened?" Luciel asked.
He wanted to know why Treyton didn't seem too sympathetic toward Nathan's experience.
"We clearly told Nathan not to accept any letters from the girls, but he kept accepting them because he was receiving bribes from them."
"What bribe are you talking about? They're just food or drinks," Nathan said in defense.
"See? He was receiving bribes; that's why he was always troubled by the girls.
All the girls knew that he would pass the letters to us if they just gave him some food.
So, it wasn't our fault that they kept troubling him.
