"Just swing the glaive with your hand, and that's it. Besides, you could use your ability to directly turn them into ash. Why do you still want to hack them?" Luciel said.
Luciel didn't learn how to use the glaive systematically or any weapons. He had learned all of them directly when fighting monsters.
He had plant ability, which wasn't that lethal at the beginning, and even afterwards, most of the time it was more useful to use it as a support.
So, Luciel had to learn how to use different weapons to protect himself.
He also learned how to use different weapons because he had to take whatever the base provided.
There were a lot of people in the base, so most of the time Luciel had to pick different weapons because if not, then he had to go empty-handed.
