I was really glad when Nath told me about the party, I was really curious thou but with him by my side I could beat my chest that he wasn't going to let any harms come to me. I post-pone all my activity and went to their shopping market to get some nice clothes for the party, I always want to be on my best, shooting was easy here because mermaid was top of fashion, everything about them were beautiful, I pick up an suit made payment and walk out. On my way out I met Rose and Grace and another girl walking in, Rose gave me a wink while Grace has a frown on her face, if she wants to get angry for all etanity she can, I can force a friend of mine to date a girl he doesn't want to, much less of one I called my best friend. Of course I want the best for him and if he says no I gat to stick with it.
Well things have been going well for me and Rose, even if I haven't asked her directly, people do think we're dating, but.... the truth is that I wasn't man enough to really tell her how I feel about her.
" You gat to be fast sooner or later you might regret never tell her." Jack said coming through the hall way
"Men you scarred me and stop reading my thoughts!!." I said angrily
" Relax bro, you know how we vampires are we can't stop ourselves from reading others mind... but anyways you got to tell her how you feel before it gets too late." He said placing his hands on my shoulder
" Well I understand bro, thanks but please stop reading my mind and if you're looking for Grace she went with Rose to the shopping mall." I was done saying before he vam-speed towards the mall I just smile a bit before walking out.
I was close to my room when the princess came, she was beautiful no doubt but love made me see her less beautiful because I was really in love with Rose
" ( Snaps her fingers) where's your friend? I haven't seen him." She said calmly
" Well I called a few hours ago he said he was in his room but I have no idea if he is in now." I replied with a little bow
" And what the shopping bag for?" She asked
"Ehnnn.... I just wanted to change some few clothes that's all" I said with a low voice
" Very well then, enjoyed the rest of your day" She said before walking out
I never knew I was holding my breath, as she left I released those hot breath before wiping the sweats on my forehead, and happily went to my room to keep my . Back at the shopping mall Grace and Rose were picking up clothes when suddenly Jack use his hands and covered Grace eyes
" Awwwwn, isn't that so cute" Rose said with a smile
" Jack you don't have to do that in public you know" Grace said rolling her eyes
" Don't tell me you don't like it" Jack replied seeing her cheek getting red
" Just stop okay" Grace said with a blush
" Fine you ladies can keep up your shopping while I wait" Jack said
He walked to a magazine stand pull one out and sat on a sofa to read, once in a minute Grace always steal glances on him to see if he was still there, despite having Jack around her, she couldn't get the thought of Nathan on her mind, tho the feeling she has for him was gone she still felt a kind of hate towards him, and she was really thinking of what the Queen said because she had seen supernatural things about him tho they decided to let it slip, she was gathering all the information one by one, finally they were done shopping and Jack pulled Grace by the waist and peck her on the cheek before walking out together. Jack help them with the things they brought and kept them in their room before winking at Grace who blushed immediately and walk out with Rose behind him to shut the door
" Looks like someone is in love" Rose said playfully
" Stop okay.....I really don't know how I feel about him" Grace replied
" Don't be sad girl, I wish Charles was this romantic but anyways you are lucky girl" Rose answered with a bright smile
" But...., about Nathan I really think there's something he's hiding from us" Grace suddenly said
" Stop beating your self over it focus on your love story before that" Rose replied trying to change her mind
" But whatever it's I promise to find out and bring it to the council" Grace said before slamming the bathroom door
Rose just shake her head at her friend but she knew somehow Nathan was really hiding something form them but she thinks it better that way because she wasn't ready for any dream.
Nathan went to open the door only to see the princess,he could sense some dark energy coming form her, she was also trying to read his mind but everything prove abortive.
" Wouldn't you welcome me in?" She said
" Firstly I don't let female in without her having company around and secondly you are the princess and you got a lot work to do why are you just wasting your time here you could use it to do something meaningful" Nathan replied
"Ohh....., I see. Well I was just passing by so I stopped to say Hi" she replied with a fake smile
" Well thinks for the care, you can go now because you need all the rest you can get for tomorrow selection" Nathan replied with a frown
" Well, see you tomorrow then and I hope you are a worthy opponent" she said with a wink
" Tomorrow shall tell it's all" Nathan said before shutting the door closed
